They say you save the best for last. That’s the case in Week 10 of the NFL season as the last remaining undefeated team won’t suit up until Monday Night Football.

The undefeated Eagles (8-0, 4-0 home) have already beaten division rival Washington (4-5, 2-2 away) once, and will look for the season sweep tonight in their own stadium. If they do so, which players should we target in our Commanders vs Eagles props?

Philadelphia boasts one of the best defenses in the NFL, and are expected to dominate the Commanders’ offense just like they did in Week 3. The Eagles trounced Washington 24-8 in that matchup, and we’re looking to fade Taylor Heinicke and Co. in the Commanders vs Eagles picks.

Heinicke has an over/under passing yards prop of 214.5, which is 29 yards less than opposing QB Jalen Hurts. We’ll break down why we’re so bearish on Heinicke shortly, but first our Commanders vs Eagles player props card starts with a bet against Washington tight end Logan Thomas.

MNF Prop #1: Logan Thomas Under 17.5 Receiving Yards

First off, the volume just hasn’t been there for Thomas this season. He’s averaging less than three catches per game, and only 8.2 yards per reception. He’s failed to reach 18 receiving yards in two of his last three games, and didn’t record a catch in his lone outing playing alongside Heinicke last week.

Logan Thomas Stats – Last 3 Games

REC TGTS YDS
0 3 0
5 6 19
2 3 5

The matchup is difficult and one he already failed in earlier this season. In Week 3, Thomas caught just two passes versus Philly for 5 yards. The Eagles enter play with the league’s second best pass defense per DVOA, and have allowed the eighth fewest receiving yards to enemy tight ends this year.

Prop Pick: Logan Thomas Under 17.5 Receiving Yards (-115), 1 unit

MNF Prop #2: Taylor Heinicke Under 20.5 Completions

Not only does Philly rank second against the pass per DVOA, but they allow just 177.6 passing yards per game. They grade out fifth in coverage, boast the ninth best pressure rate, and in general just make life miserable for opposing QBs.

When they faced Washington earlier this season, they sacked Carson Wentz nine times and held him to a 13.7 QBR.

Heinicke meanwhile, completed just 15 passes last week versus Minnesota, and has been held below 21 completions in two of his three starts.

Washington would be better off trying to run the ball for as long as they can for a pair of reasons. One, it will keep Philly’s vaunted offense off the field, and two, the Eagles rank 27th versus the run per DVOA.

Prop Pick: Taylor Heinicke Under 20.5 Completions (-125), 1 unit

The Eagles are 11-point favorites on MNF, so it makes sense that Miles Sanders and Hurts have the two shortest price tags to score a touchdown in the Commanders vs Eagles player props. However, we’re going to target one of their teammates to find the end zone instead.

MNF Prop #3: Dallas Goedert Anytime TD

That would be Dallas Goedert, who’s seen a ton of volume recently. Goedert has hauled in 14 catches in the past two weeks alone, including a touchdown in Week 9 versus Houston.

He’s seen at least six targets six straight games and caught a TD when these two teams first met back in September. The 27-year-old torched Washington last season for 13 catches and over 200 receiving yards in their two meetings, and I’m betting he puts up another big game on MNF and finds the end zone as well.

Prop Pick: Dallas Goedert Anytime TD (+185), 1 unit
