The Miami Dolphins (5-6, 2-3 away, 5-6 ATS) are effectively in must-win mode as they head to Lambeau Field for a Thanksgiving clash with the Green Bay Packers (8-3, 4-2 home, 5-6 ATS) on Thursday, Nov. 28, at . The Fins have won three straight but remain 1.5 games back of the final AFC Wild Card berth. Green Bay is a field-goal favorite at home in Thursday’s Dolphins vs Packers odds. Below, find my three-leg, +112 Miami vs Green Bay same-game parlay.
Dolphins vs Packers Same-Game Parlay
Pick | Odds |
---|---|
Dolphins +7.5 | -240 |
Under 60.5 Points | -650 |
Tua Tagovailoa 200+ Passing Yards | -245 |
MIA vs GB SGP Odds | +112 |
The three legs of this Dolphins/Packers same-game parlay work out to +112 odds using FanDuel’s same-game parlay option.
Dolphins vs Packers SGP Pick #1: Dolphins +7.5
The Packers are coming off a 38-10 rout of the Brock Purdy-less 49ers. But prior to that was a one-point win over the Bears, a ten-point loss to the Lions, a three-point win over the Jaguars, and a tw0-point win over the Texans.
The Packers are a good team, but they’re not really built to blow people out.
And, don’t look now, but the Dolphins are surging. An 11-6 team last year, the Fins look rejuvenated with Tua Tagovailoa back under center. In his first two games back, Miami fell by a point to Arizona (28-27) and by a field goal at Buffalo (30-27). They they rattled off three straight wins, all by eight or more points, against the Rams, Raiders, and Patriots. That’s not a gauntlet of opponents, but Miami more or less dominated all 12 quarters.
Miami vs Green Bay Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Under 60.5 Points
The second leg of this parlay is under a massive alt-total of 60.5 points. which is 12 points higher than the standard total of 48.5. Miami can certainly put up points in bunches, but the weather forecast calls for freezing temperatures (26 Fahrenheit) and winds as high as 20 mph. This is not likely to be a scoring frenzy.
Even if weather conditions were optimal, Miami’s defense has held three straight opponents under 20 points, while Green Bay has allowed just 29 points combined in its last two. Neither the Dolphins nor the Packers have a shutdown D but both they sit 12th and 10th in scoring defense, respectively, and it’s hard to see either one getting boat-raced tonight.
Dolphins vs Packers SGP Pick #3: Tagovailoa 200+ Passing Yards
The final leg of tonight’s MIA/GB same-game parlay is Tua to throw for at least 200 yards. Tagovailoa has hit this number in every game he’s played since returning from (another) concussion, averaging 255.4 YPG in that span.
Yes, the conditions might be tricky, but when you have speedsters like Tyreek Hill and De’Von Achane to dump the ball off to, a one-yard screen can turn into big yardage in a hurry.
