How to Watch Kansas City vs Green Bay

Viewers in the United States can watch the Chiefs vs Packers game on Sunday Night Football by tuning into NBC. Canadian viewers can watch by streaming on DAZN.

Chiefs vs Packers Head-to-Head History

The last meeting between these teams was in 2021 with Kansas City winning 13-7 at home. Green Bay has won 3/5 dating back to 2007 and holds the all-time head-to-head record at 8-5-1.

In NFL public betting, the public looks to be heavily backing the Chiefs on both the spread and moneyline with high percentages of the public wagers coming in on both the moneyline and spread bets. The public is also pouring in on the Under in the Chiefs vs Packers betting splits.

Chiefs Get Comeback Win In Vegas

The Chiefs lead the AFC West at 8-3 and rebounded quickly from a Monday Night Football loss to Philadelphia two weeks ago by defeating the Raiders 31-17 last week.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 298 yards and two scores and Rashee Rice led all receivers in the game with nine catches, 107 yards and one score. Travis Kelce also added six catches for 91 yards. While Isiah Pacheco ran in two touchdowns on the ground on 55 yards. It was an impressive win when you consider Kansas City fell behind early 14-0 before storming back to tie the game entering the halftime and pulling away in the second half.

On the road, Kansas City is now 3-2 ATS and 3-2 as a road favorite.

Packers Shock Lions In Thanksgiving Upset

Green Bay went into Detroit on Thanksgiving Day as heavy road underdogs and pulled off the upset of the day beating the Lions 29-22. The Packers, despite being just 5-6, have now won two straight and three of four.

At home, Green Bay is 3-2 ATS and 2-1 ATS as a home favorite.

Jordan Love is finding his groove of late as well, throwing for 268 yards and three TDs versus the Lions last week.

He had 322 yards and two TDs the game prior versus the Chargers and 289 yards and two TDs before that versus the Steelers.

Chiefs vs Packers Prediction

The Packers have been involved in a ton of close games with 7/11 games being decided by seven points or less. In those games they are 3-4 SU but 2-0 in their past two games. But several of their games have been decided by even fewer points with 6/11 being decided by four points or fewer.

The Chiefs have not been blowing teams away by any means this season, but they have been capable of covering numbers in this range. Their wins this season have come by 8, 31, 3, 7, 11, 14, 7 and 14 points.

Defensively, both of these teams are top-ten in PPG allowed with the Chiefs giving up just 16.5 PPG and Green Bay 20.4.

That’s resulted in both teams playing to the Under this season with KC 8-3 to the Under and Green Bay 6-5 to the Under.

While the Chiefs’ total went Over the number against the Raiders, they are 6-1 to the Under in their past seven.

The Packers have gone Over the total in two of their past three, but are 5-2 to the Under in their past seven.

It’s also hard to go over totals when a team can’t score for half of the game. That’s the case in many Chiefs games as they’re the second-lowest second half scoring team in the league, averaging just 6.4 points per second half.

They scored 17 points in the second half last week versus the Raiders, but had scored zero points in the second half of each of the three previous games, and just seven points in each of their previous four games.

Guess what, this is a prime-time game, and those tend to follow the same trend as both of these teams’ current streak of Unders. Prime-time Unders are 29-10, but look at SNF and MNF and that number is even more skewed to the Under at 25-3 with 15 straight hitting the Under as well.

We’ll take the Under here in our Chiefs vs Packers prediction.
