- In the Dolphins vs Bills inactive and injury report, Miami will be down both starting safeties
- Buffalo offensive lineman Ryan Bates and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips have both been ruled out

Not only are they venturing into the frigid cold of upstate New York to take on the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins will be doing so with several key players sidelined or playing through injury.
Their defensive secondary is makeshift, as safeties Elijah Campbell (concussion) and Eric Rowe (hamstring) are both out — not a great start going against the sixth-best passing attack in the NFL, fronted by quarterback Josh Allen, a top-4 contender in the NFL MVP odds.
Buffalo has some injury woes of their own. An already- weakened front seven with the loss of Von Miller will be down defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (shoulder) for a second straight game.
It makes for an interesting showdown at the top of the division, as the Bills, winners of three straight, are 7-point favorites in a game that features a total of 44 in the NFL odds.

Catch this game Saturday night at 8:15pm ET from Highmark Stadium, in a game you can see live on NFL Network. Weather will play a factor, with snow on the ground and 32-degree temperature at kickoff.
The current NFL betting trends lean heavily to the home side, with 63% of the bets against the spread and a hefty 85% of moneyline wagers banking on Buffalo.
Miami Dolphins Injury Report
Perhaps the biggest sigh of relief for Dolphins’ fans is that Tyreek Hill (ankle) is a full go Saturday night. Hill, having a career season in his first run with the Fins, was clearly hobbled in their 23-17 loss to the Chargers.
With no restrictions on Hill, and despite playing in the snow, you have to believe to Dolphins will still lean heavily on a pass game that ranks second in the NFL. Perhaps that factors into your betting in the Dolphins vs Bills player props, or how you plan to shape your single-game parlay for this one.

There are still concerns, though, particularly on the offensive line, where offensive tackle Terron Armstead is dealing with toe, pectoral and knee injuries. He’s listed as questionable, as is running back Jeff Wilson Jr (hip).
Receiver River Cracraft has a calf injury, and is listed as doubtful against the Bills.
Safety replacements for Campbell and Rowe will likely be Clayton Fejedelem and rookie Verone McKinley III. Both will be thrust into a major role after Fejedelem played three snaps last week in LA, while McKinley III saw 16.
Buffalo Bills Injury Report
Bates is the second offensive lineman the Bills have lost to injury in a week, as Ike Boettger (Achilles) was placed on the physically unable to perform list in Week 15. Mitch Morse (elbow) and Roger Saffold (rest), were also listed on the report but he will play.
Other Bills playing through pain will be defensive tackle Ed Oliver (pectoral), who was hurt last week in their win over the Jets, and Matt Milano (knee), who started last week.
Buffalo boasts a top-4 run defense, allowing only 99.8 yards on the ground per game. We’ll see if they hold up against a Miami run game that produces only 89.8 yards per game.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs and running back Taiwan Jones both missed practice time this week for rest, but both are expected to suit up against Miami tonight.
Buffalo made news this week signing 11-year vet Cole Beasley to the practice squad. He’s been elevated to the gameday roster against the Dolphins, though there’s no telling how many snaps he’ll get in.
How Can Injuries Affect Dolphins vs Bills Lines?
This line opened at -7.5, and has been shaved by a half-point since.
The total has dropped by at as much as 3.5 points at some books, after opening at 47.5. Much of that, however, has been attributed to the weather vs injuries.
The status of Armstead might be a shift things, once his status is determined, as the Bills are a top-10 unit in sacks with 35 on the season. There’s potentially a swing of a half point either way.
