How to Watch Pittsburgh vs Indianapolis

Viewers in the United States can watch the Saturday’s Pittsburgh vs Indianapolis game on NFL Network, while Canadian viewers can see the game on DAZN and TSN.

Steelers vs Colts Head-to-Head History

Pittsburgh won 24-17 in Indianapolis last season and that only added to the Steelers domination of the Colts historically. Pittsburgh has an impressive 27-6 all-time record against Indy while winning eight in a row and 18 of their past 20 meetings.

Steelers vs Colts Public Betting Trends

In NFL public betting, the public is nearly split on the short spread between these teams when it comes to the bet percentages. However, in moneyline splits, 64% of the money and 78% of the bets have been placed on the Colts as of Friday. In a clash of styles between these teams, the public is siding with a more open game going over the total with 70% or more of the money and bets being placed on Over 42 points.

Steelers Betting Preview

Pittsburgh scored the most points they’d scored in three weeks and still lost to New England 21-18 on Thursday Night Football. Now 18 points is still not great, but compared to the 10, 16 and 10 points from the three games prior, it was some measure of improvement. They also did so with backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky in place of the injured Kenny Pickett.

The Steelers had been getting by on their defense, ranked 7th in PPG allowed. carrying their offense, 27th in PPG scored. But in Week 14 the defense struggled against the league’s lowest scoring team New England (13 PPG).

The Patriots had scored a combined 13 points in their three previous games but finally found success with backup Bailey Zappe throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns.

Trubisky produced little for the Steelers throwing for only 190 yards while their running game was completely nullified with Trubisky leading all rushers with a mere 30 yards.

Pittsburgh is now just 1-3 ATS in their last four, but are 7-6 ATS overall this season.

Colts Betting Preview

Indy went into Cincinnati in Week 14 riding a four-game winning streak but hit a wall in losing 34-14.

The Colts offense which averages 24.2 PPG (8th) and had been averaging 26.6 PPG in their six games heading into Week 14 struggled versus a usually weak Bengals defense that gives up 22.1 PPG (19th). Gardner Minshew threw for just 240 yards to go with one touchdown and one interception and the Colts’ running game was non-existent with Zach Moss leading the team with 28 yards. That could be a concern again this week with Jonathan Taylor still out injured.

Michael Pittman still put up a 95-yard performance, but was held out of the endzone. He fell just shy of hitting the 100-yard mark in receiving yards for the third-straight game but did record at least eight receptions for the sixth-straight game. He’s always worth a look in the Steelers vs Colts props.

The Bengals jumped out to a 14-0 lead last week, but Indy tied the game at 14 heading into the half, only to see Cincy dominate the second half and outscore the Colts 20-0. The Colts defense allowed rookie quarterback Jake Browning to throw for 275 yards and two touchdowns in the game.

The Colts own one of the better ATS records overall at 8-5 and are 4-1 ATS in their past five.

Steelers vs Colts Prediction

These teams come in at opposite ends of the totals betting. The Colts have gone Over at the highest rate this season at 9-4. Meanwhile the Steelers are tied with Minnesota, Las Vegas and the LA Chargers at 10-3 to the Under, the highest-rated Under teams this season.

Indy’s games have gone Over in each of the past three with 47, 59 and 48 points.

It was a rare “Over” game for Pittsburgh last week, their first after three-straight Unders and just their second Over in their past 11 games.

Let’s go a little different in our Steelers vs Colts prediction and back the Colts to score at least 21 points in this game. The Steelers just allowed both the Patriots (21) and Cardinals (24) to score over 20.5 points, and both of those teams had two wins and averaged under 18 points per game. Indy is averaging 24.2 PPG and have scored at least 21 points in all six home games.
