  • It’s time to lock in and start getting bets down for the NFL Divisional Playoff slate
  • In the NFL Playoffs, bettors have a giant advantage over the books with player prop bets
  • Getting bets in on Friday is my favorite strategy, and it’s no different for this week

We’ve got four NFL games this weekend, so it’s time to start getting serious about what we want to bet. After this weekend, we’ll only have three NFL games left this season, so it’s important that we get as much action in as possible while we still can. It’s a long offseason, but we do it every year, so I’m confident that we can do it again this year.

Being that there are only four games this weekend, we don’t have as many options as we normally do, but make no mistake, we’ve got enough. The two best two bets I’ve found just so happen to be in the same game which is the Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills. Not to alarm anyone, but these could be the greatest two bets we’ve ever seen. Keep reading.

Divisional Round NFL Player Props and Odds

Player Rush Attempts Rushing Yards Pick

Both of today’s Ravens/Bills player props are plus-money bets on players hitting achievable overs, starting with Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson and finishing with Justice Hill.

Lamar Jackson Has Wheels

When we think about Lamar Jackson, I’m sure we all think of him as a “Mike Vick” type quarterback. A guy that nobody is allowed to use on Madden because he can beat you so bad with his legs. We’ve all been there and it’s just not very fun.

But, that’s not totally accurate. The man can sling the rock, and he deserves all the praise he gets as a passer.

Here’s the thing about Lamar, we can still bet his rushing props. In fact, his passing prowess is actually helping suppress his rushing prop lines. That and the fact that he rushed for a career-low 8.2 attempts per game this season. True ball-knowers out there should be seeing opportunity all over the place.

The fact of the matter is, Lamar still runs; he just picks his spots. We saw him go for 14+ attempts three times this season. Sure, the Ravens may want to limit his exposure in the running game, but when push comes to shove in a close one, Lamar is going to flash the wheels.

I know the haters are going to say that Lamar only ran the ball six times against Buffalo the first time these teams met, but as usual, the haters lack the vision to make good bets. For starters, that game ended 35-10. There was no incentive whatsoever to run Lamar in that game. In fact, he only ran the ball twice in the second half.

In a closer contest, we should see more of Lamar’s legs. It should be noted that he ran 15 times last week. I think he approaches that number again this week. Feels right.

Justice Hill Was Born To Catch Balls

The running back position has changed quite a bit since I was a kid. Sure, we had Roger Craig, but for the most part, running backs ran while wide receivers and tight ends caught passes. It’s just the way it was. And honestly, I was fine with that.

Now, we’re looking at a whole new world. There are running backs that make a living in the passing game. Justice Hill is one of them.

If you’ve watched any of the Ravens’ games this season, then you know Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson run the ball, and Justice Hill catches it out of the backfield. Justice is very good at his job too. On the season, Hill was targeted 51 times, hauling in 42 of those looks. The man has the hands of a champion.

This week, he’ll see a team in the Buffalo Bills that should get him excited. On the season, no team in the NFL allowed more receiving yards to the running back position than Buffalo. It’s the attack surface most teams prefer, probably because it works.

The Ravens are one of those teams. When these squads met earlier in the season, Hill caught six passes for 78 yards. This time around, the Bills will be aware of him, but it’s not like they just let him kill them last time. Plus, Zay Flowers will likely be out this time and even if he does play, he won’t be 100%. Someone has to fill that void, and that someone is likely Justice Hill. Feels right.
