Slight ATS Move Toward NFL Champ Rams
The opening line on this game was Bills -2.5, so there has been enough action on the Rams to cause it to shorten to Buffalo -2. The past week has seen a surge of public play on LA. A week ago, the Bills were garnering 98% of ATS handle and 67% of ATS bets. While the ATS betting on the Bills has actually gone up a tick to 68%, the ATS handle has dropped 24 percentage points to 74%.

LA was 3-0 ATS last season as a betting underdog. As well, Rams head coach Sean McVay is 5-0 both SU and ATS in season openers.
On the flip side, Buffalo is 4-1 both SU and ATS in the last five meetings with the Rams. In the most recent clash, Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns in Buffalo’s 35-32 win over LA. Allen is the darling of Bills vs Rams props, and he also scampered into the end zone for the other Buffalo TD.
Bills vs Rams Total Goes Down
The total opened at 52.5 points but has since lowered a full point to 51.5. Even with the lesser numbers, the fact of the matter is that in three of the past four Rams-Bills games, they’ve gone under that total.
The public is going with the over to the tune of 64% of handle and 60% of bets. Since the total was lowered, there’s been more action on the over. A week ago, 60% of handle and 50% of bets were backing the over.
Interestingly, though, the one game that involved Allen managed to be the one that exceeded that total. The total has indeed gone over in five of Buffalo’s last seven games, and in four of the past five road games played by the Bills. The over is also five-for-five in Buffalo’s last five contests against teams from the NFC West.

There’s been concern about tendinitis in the throwing arm of Rams QB Matthew Stafford. However, he’s been able to handle the workload presented him and insists the pain level is tolerable.
Another factor to consider in the over play is that Buffalo is missing All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White. He’s on the PUP following knee surgery.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott has to choose between two rookies – first-round pick Kaiir Elam or sixth-round pick Christian Benford. He’s yet to name a starter. Whoever it is, Rams receivers Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Allen Robinson have to be salivating at the thought of running routes against a rookie making his NFL debut.
Minor Moneyline Movement in Bills vs Rams
When considering how to bet on TNF, take into account the opening NFL moneylines were Buffalo -134 and Los Angeles Rams +114. Today, the moneylines are Bills -130 and Rams +110.

The Bills were drawing 83% of moneyline handle and 58% of ML bets. That’s been reduced to 61% of handle and 56% of bets.
LA was 3-0 SU as a moneyline underdog last season. Buffalo was 10-5 SU as a moneyline favorite in 2022.
