  • Plenty of NFL player props are available for the San Francisco vs Dallas NFL Playoff game on Sunday, January 16
  • Both teams appear to have all their big-name players available to them
  • See all the player props (over/unders) below and Bob’s best props to bet for the 49ers vs Cowboys game

Some of the most epic playoff games in NFL playoff history have been delivered when the Dallas Cowboys found themselves opposing the San Francisco 49ers. It might be the best bet of the Wild Card Weekend to suggest that this game will be the most memorable of the six on tap.

Six times, they’ve met in the NFC Championship Game. The first two trips to the Super Bowl made by Dallas came following wins over the 49ers in 1971 and 1972. As well, San Francisco’s first Super Bowl journey was earned via a defeat of the Cowboys in 1982.

Individual performances are also part and parcel of the legacy of this playoff rivalry. Duane Thomas ripping through the Niners defense for 143 yards in the 1971 NFC title game. Roger Staubach coming off the bench to engineer 17 unanswered points and a 30-28 Dallas victory in 1972. San Fran QB Joe Montana and TE Brent Clark connecting for The Catch in 1982.

Which players will exceed expectations in this one? Which will underwhelm? As Dallas and San Francisco prepare to do battle yet again in the NFL postseason, there are plenty of player props worth looking at in this game.

If you’re looking for more traditional betting lines, you’ll find those in our 49ers vs Cowboys odds.

Prop #1: Deebo Will Run to Daylight

San Francisco’s secret weapon, wideout Samuel is as much a running threat as he is a dangerous receiver.

He’s gone over 29.5 yards rushing in seven of his last eight games. Even with Elijah Mitchell back to the bellcow duties, there will be carries for Samuel.

Pick: San Francisco 49ers Deebo Samuel over 29.5 rushing yards (-120). 1 unit.

Prop #2: Zeke Hits The Wall

Playing on an ailing knee, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is clearly struggling. He’s averaging 43.5 rushing yards per game and 3.6 yards per carry since Week 8 of the season.

Elliott has been held under 48.5 yards on the ground in seven of the past nine games. San Francisco’s defense has allowed just two RBs to go over 50 yards on the ground since Week 10.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys Ezekiel Elliott under 48.5 rushing yards (-115), 1 unit.

Who Are the Best Bets to Score a Touchdown?

The Niners have looked susceptible to being attacked by going to the tight end in recent weeks. Dallas TE Dalton Schultz has caught four touchdown passes in the past three games. He found the end zone twice on three targets last week against the Eagles.

Samuel is a TD machine for the 49ers. He’s been on the receiving end of six TD passes and has rambled for eight TD runs.

Picks: Dalton Scultz to Score First (+1200), 1 unit; Deebo Samuel to Score Anytime (-115), 1 unit.
