Steelers Big Road Favorites

Not surprisingly, the largest Week 11 line has the Pittsburgh Steelers favored by 10.5 points on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Steelers are the last unbeaten team in the NFL at 9-0. The Jaguars have lost eight straight games and are 1-8.

Pittsburgh rolled to a 36-10 victory over the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday as a 6.5-point favorite. Ben Roethlisberger threw for a season-high 333 yards and four touchdowns despite not practicing all week while on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Jaguars played the Green Bay Packers tough on the road before falling 24-20 as 13.5-point underdogs. Jacksonville’s Keelan Cole set a franchise record with a 91-yard punt return for a touchdown and also caught a TD pass.

Washington 1-Point Choice

The closest line has the Washington Football Team as a one-point choice at home against the Bengals.

Washington lost its second game in a row Sunday, dropping a 30-27 decision to the Lions at Detroit as 2.5-point underdogs.

A roughing the passer call on Washington defensive end Chase Young, the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year favorite, helped set up Matt Prater’s game-winning 59-yard field goal as time expired.

Young tried to be philosophical about the tough loss in which Washington rallied from down 24-3 to tie the game.

The Bengals defense was riddled by Roethlisberger’s passing. Meanwhile, the offense went 0for-13 on third down.

Primetime Shootout Expected

The oddsmakers are expecting a Thursday night shootout in Seattle as they have set the over/under at 56.5 points for the Arizona Cardinals-Seahawks game.

Seattle and Arizona are tied atop the NFC West standings with the Los Angeles Rams. All three teams have 6-3 records.

Murray rallied the Cardinals to victory over the Bills on Sunday in a game that featured 62 points and the miraculous touchdown in the closing seconds.

Seattle lost 23-16 to the Rams at Los Angeles despite Russell Wilson passing for 248 yards and rushing for 60 more. The Seahawks entered the game having allowed the most points and passing yards in the NFL.

Low Number on Fins-Broncos

The lowest total is 44.5 points for the Miami Dolphins’ visit to Denver to play the Broncos.

Miami notched a 29-21 home victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The Dolphins’ blitzing defense gave rookie quarterback Justin Herbert problems throughout and he had a season-low 187 yards passing.

The Broncos were blown out 37-12 on the road by the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders intercepted Drew Lock four times with Jeff Heath recording two of the picks.

Line Changes

The Cleveland Browns have opened as three-point favorites at home over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Though the Browns are 6-3 and Eagles are 3-5-1, the line seems a little high. Look for the number to drop at least a little bit during the week.

Another line that feels a little off is the Houston Texans being favored by 2.5 points at home over the New England Patriots.

Granted, the Patriots took a 3-5 record into Sunday night’s game against the visiting Baltimore Ravens. However, the Texans are just 2-7 and the Jaguars are the only team they have beaten.

Even in such a down year, the public still lacks backing Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
