Pick #1: Steven Stamkos Anytime Goalscorer

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos scored his first goal of the Stanley Cup Final in Monday’s Game 3 vs Colorado. Tampa now trails the series 2-1 and have seen their Stanley Cup odds improve. Stamkos is a good bet to keep rolling in Game 4.

Stamkos is priced at +150 in the NHL odds at DraftKings Sportsbook to score a goal during Game 4. The Bolts’ sniper leads all Lightning players with nine shots on goal in the Cup Final. It was only a matter of time before Stamkos lit the lamp versus Colorado.

Stamkos has a career shooting percentage of 17% but has only has a shooting percentage of 11% in the Final. This leads us to believe more goals are coming, especially considering Colorado pulled goalie Darcy Kuemper during a rough outing last game.

Stamkos scored in Game 4 versus both Toronto and New York this postseason and has eight goals in nine playoff home games at Amalie Arena. Stamkos anytime goalscorer wager at plus-money is among the best NHL player prop bets to make for Game 4.

Pick: Steven Stamkos Anytime Goalscorer (+150)

Pick #2: J.T. Compher Over 0.5 Points

Colorado Avalanche forward J.T. Compher offers great value in the NHL odds to get on the scoresheet in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final. The 27-year-old has taken over the Avs’ second-line center role with Nazem Kadri sidelined by injury.

Compher was arguably Colorado’s best player in Game 3, registering five shots on goal, including three-high danger chances. He has the sixth-highest expected goals (2.47) of any player in the series at even-strength but only one assist to show for it.

Not only is Compher playing with Mikko Rantanen on Colorado’s second line, but he’s also playing on the Avs’ league-leading power play. Compher can create chances on his own with his speed, but an injury to Andre Burakovsky has bolstered his NHL player props value.

Colorado should bounce back in Game 4 much like Tampa Bay did in Game 3 following an ugly loss. With the Game 4 Avalanche vs Lightning odds favoring Colorado to take a 3-1 series lead, Compher is a great bet at +150 to record at least one point.

Pick: J.T. Compher Over 0.5 Points (+150)
