  • The Carolina Hurricanes are -135 home favorites over the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of their Stanley Cup Eastern Conference first-round series on Saturday, May 14
  • The home team has won all six games played in this best-of-seven series
  • All of the Bruins vs Hurricanes odds, picks and predictions are analyzed in the following story

Consider this the Game 7 rubber match between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes. They’ll got to a seventh and deciding game of a playoff series for the third time on Saturday. In the two previous Game 7 contests, each club has a win.

There’s a twist to this one, though. It’s the first time that the game won’t be played in Boston. And that could be all important. So far, the home team has proven to be the victor in all six games of this set.

Oddsmakers are counting on that pattern continuing in the NHL picks. It’s the Hurricanes who are being established as the -135 betting choice to take Game 7 and win the series in the NHL lines. The NHL playoff odds show Boston has lost four games in a row at Carolina. However, there’s a 7-7 straight up split between the two teams over that past 14 games played in Raleigh.
