Edmonton Oilers Betting Analysis
The Edmonton Oilers have closed the regular season on fire, racking up points in 13 straight (12-0-1), and they’re 16-2-1 since March (tops in the NHL in that span). In six straight victories, they’ve won by two or more markers.
"There’s been a fire burning in the eyes of Connor McDavid all season, and now that same fire lights up Leon Draisaitl and RNH. It's spread to the others players, to the newcomers, and to the goalies.n Good luck to any opposing team trying to put it out."https://t.co/W4GMtcUhgk

Goaltender Stuart Skinner is expected to be in the crease, as he’s outperformed free-agent signee Jack Campbell by a wide margin. In his last three starts, he’s allowed just two goals and pitched a shutout against potential first-round opponent Los Angeles. Connor McDavid simply cannot be stopped, as he has 27 points on a 14-game point streak. In all but seven of his 80 contests, McDavid has registered at least one point.
Edmonton has won six of seven against squads with winning records, with the lone loss coming to Vegas (4-3 in overtime).
Colorado Avalanche Betting Analysis
Midway through January, the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche were entirely pedestrian, winning as much as they’d lost (20-17-3). Since then, they’ve been dominant, going 29-7-3 for 61 points, second-best in the league in that time frame. The Avs have roared back to take the Central Division lead on the strength of 15 victories in the last 18 contests.

During their phenomenal run, the Avs are third in goals/game, which is a far better than their eighth-worst mark in the NHL in their first 40 games. They’re still missing captain Gabriel Landeskog (knee), who hasn’t competed at all this season. They’re paced by Nathan MacKinnon, who is sixth in scoring (107 points), and Mikko Rantanen’s 54 goals (third best in hockey)
Despite playing at home, the Avs aren’t favored. That’s intriguing to note since Colorado has dropped six of seven on home ice as an underdog.

Colorado Avalanche Moneyline | +100 |

PARLAY ODDS | Â +210 |
The Avalanche have won their last six against the West. The over is 7-0 in their last seven when their opponent scores five goals or more in their previous game.
With both these teams having a lot to play for, and both being on fire, picking a home underdog is enticing. That particularly holds true with the Avs dominance in this series of late.
Pick: Colorado Avalanche Moneyline (+100), Over 6.5 Goals (-135)
