Soccer Betting – Juve Chase Back-to-Back Coppa Italia vs AC Milan

Juventus and AC Milan will square off for the last trophy of the Italian soccer season when they clash in the Coppa Italia title, this Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico, in Rome (2:45 PM Eastern).

The winner will be determined in a one-game scenario, unlike past years where the game had two legs.  Juventus is the defending champions and the favorite to win again after recording another great season.

Last season they beat Lazio 2-1 in a game that went into extra time to decide the winner. Juve has 10 Coppa Italia title in their resume; no other team has more.

During the 2015-16 campaign, Juventus was untouchable once again in the Italia Serie A, winning their fifth league title in a row. A Coppa Italia victory will emulate last year’s achievements when the team finished with the double title.

The other side of the cookie is not as sweet. AC Milan is having one of its worst seasons, and the Rossoneri have no direction or clue what to do to fix the mess they have become.

A month or so ago, they let go coach Siniša Mihajlović to give the team to the new Cristian Brocchi. The coaching change was a mess. Milan was in Europa League positions and now under Brocchi, they depend on the victory of this game against Juventus to get into the European tournament.

That’s Milan biggest motivation in this match; it’s not even about the trophy itself, but about the ticket to the Europa League. If Milan beats Juventus, they are in, but if they lose Sassuolo – who finished sixth place in the standings – would get the ticket.

Juventus is so much better as a team than Milan that this shouldn’t be a close game. Take the Bianconeri to win by a two-goal margin.
