England’s Premier League heads into Round Four this weekend with Leicester City on top by a goal difference. However, they have last season’s runaway title-winners, Liverpool, slipping ominously into gear in second place.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton team are in third place after three straight wins – with those three teams all on nine points.

Odds taken on Oct 2 at DraftKings

Pick 1: Arsenal vs Sheffield United

Sheffield United have lost all three EPL games so far but they proved themselves a tough and resilient side when they returned to the top flight in 2019-20.

Although their visit to Arsenal is a daunting one, it is time to consider whether the Blades will call upon the spirit of last season and dig in for a much-needed point in London at 9:00 AM EST on Sunday.

In the search for value, the draw offers good prospects at DraftKings with a price of +300.

The Gunners have made a promising start despite last Monday’s 3-1 defeat against a rampant Liverpool team and are rated at -186 for a home win. Sheffield United are, understandably, a wide +550 for a victory.

Chris Wilder’s outfit had the fourth-best defensive record in the EPL last season – conceding only 39 goals.

Significantly, United lost 1-0 in their two most recent defeats at home against Yorkshire rivals Leeds United and beforehand at Aston Villa. They lost their opening game 2-0 at Wolverhampton.

It has left them in 19th place but don’t forget, Chris Wilder’s outfit had the fourth-best defensive record in the EPL last season – conceding only 39 goals.

Arsenal opened the season with a commanding 3-0 win at Fulham but scraped a late narrow victory at home against West Ham United by 2-1.

Their defensive resilience then fell apart at Anfield in the league last Monday.

Against that, striker Alexandre Lacazette has begun the campaign in fine form and has scored in all three EPL fixtures.

Pick: Draw (+300)

Pick 2: Leicester City vs West Ham Utd

Leicester City are the early league leaders and have scored 12 goals in their three straights wins so far – with five being put past Manchester City last weekend.

They meet an erratic West Ham United side at 7:00 AM EST on Sunday with the Hammers fresh from conceding heavily in a 4-1 defeat by in-form Everton in the EFL Carabao Cup in midweek.

The London side scored an unexpected 4-0 win at home against Wolves last Sunday.

However, Leicester’s goal-scoring record so far makes them +143 to win by two goals, which is an attractive wager (Asian Handicap -1.25 +143).

Leicester’s Jamie Vardy is the joint EPL top scorer with five goals so far.

Brendan Rodgers Leicester team are listed at -157 for a win with West Ham at +400 and the draw at +320.

Leicester’s Jamie Vardy is the joint EPL top scorer with five goals so far.

His tally includes a hat-trick in the remarkable 5-2 win away at Manchester City last weekend although two of those goals came from the penalty spot.

The season began with Leicester in a rampant mood when they won 3-0 at West Bromwich Albion. Another free-scoring date followed when they beat Burnley 4-2.

David Moyes’ West Ham team were plunged into an instant crisis when they lost their opening game 2-0 at home against Newcastle United.

There was an improved performance at Arsenal but they still lost 2-1.

Then came a huge surprise as they crushed Wolves 4-0 at the London Stadium with Jarrod Bowen scoring twice.

They are now in 11th place but can often be exposed defensively – conceding 62 goals last season.

Pick: Leicester – Asian Handicap -1.25 (+143)

Pick 3: Newcastle Utd vs Burnley

Burnley have lost both EPL games so far but were impressive on the road last season and will be hungry for at least their first point away at Newcastle United.

Steve Bruce’s Newcastle side have earned points away from home by winning 2-0 at West Ham and drawing 1-1 at Tottenham.

In their only home game so far, they were stunned 3-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion.

Sean Dyche’s Burnley team are a tough-minded outfit and won seven times on their road trips last season while drawing on five occasions.

It makes the DraftKings price of +220 for the draw a good value offer – with +210 for a win by the visitors also worth interest.

Newcastle are priced at +145 so there is value across the board in a game between two evenly-matched sides on Saturday at 3:00 PM EST.

Burnley were beaten 4-2 at Leicester City and then disappointingly fell 1-0 at home against Southampton.

Pick: Draw (+220)
