Sparks Can’t Close Out Lynx
A three-pointer by Lexie Brown put LA in prime position to beat the Lynx, as it extended their lead to 11 points with three-and-a-half minutes to play in the game.
Instead, the Sparks could not hold off a Minnesota rally, watching the lead vanish with just over a minute left, as they scored just three points the rest of the way in a 91-86 loss.

LA wasted a standout performance from Nneka Ogwumike, who finished with 27 points, seven assists and eight boards while shooting a crisp 8-for-11 from the field.
Jordin Canada had 18 points, eight dimes, four rebounds and three steals, while Brown was the only other LA player to hit double figures, with 21 point and four assists.
The Sparks have allowed the most fast-break points per game this season (14.6), allowing a Minnesota side that is bottom five in points on the break to tag LA for 13.
Wings Clipped on Road Again
It’s safe to say Dallas is happy to be back in their cozy confines, after taking a 102-93 loss to the Liberty last time out.
It’s the worst defensive effort of the year for the Wings, who surrendered 100+ points for the first time all season.

As a team, Dallas shot 39% from the field, including a dismal 6-for-23 from distance, just a 26.1% clip. They are the W’s worst three-point shooting team, clocking in a 29.5%.
