The reigning WNBA-champion New York Liberty (21-13, 13-4 home, 12-20-2 ATS) host the reigning runner-up Minnesota Lynx (28-5, 11-4 away, 20-12-1 ATS) on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In a scheduling anomaly, this will be Minnesota’s third straight game against New York. Minnesota is already 3-0 SU against the Liberty, including an 83-71 road win on Aug. 10 and an 86-80 home win last time out on Saturday.
Unfortunately, injuries dominate the storylines heading into Tuesday’s matchup of the top-two favorites in the WNBA Championship odds. More on that later. Below, find the Liberty vs Lynx odds, injury reports, player props, and my favorite picks for Tuesday night.

Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty Odds
The Lynx/Liberty point spread is as high as MIN +3.5 (-118) at BetMGM and as low as Liberty -2.5 (-114) at FanDuel, presenting a slight opportunity to middle. Counterintuitively, the best price on the New York moneyline is currently -143 at BetMGM, while bet365 has the longest odds on a Minnesota victory at +125. The game total only shows a half-point range. Most books have it at 166.5 with -110 odds each way, but FanDuel has it a point lower at 166.0 with -112 odds on the over.

The WNBA-leading Lynx are roughly +150 favorites to win the 2025 WNBA title, a feat they came one game short of last season. The Liberty are around +175 to repeat.
MIN vs NYL Injury Reports
While Collier (23.5 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 3.5 APG) has been described as a “game-time decision” for Tuesday’s contest, she’s officially listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report. She hasn’t played since August 2nd, a string of four straight games, and the Lynx are a perfect 4-0 straight-up in those contests, which includes back-to-back wins over the Liberty.
Breanna Stewart (18.3PPG, 6.5 RPG, 3.9 APG) remains out for New York, as she has been since late July. New York is just 1-3 SU in its last four and hasn’t beaten a team that’s over .500 since a July 25 win over Phoenix, back when Stewart was still in the lineup. They’re 0-4 against teams over .500 without the two-time WNBA MVP.

Sabrina Ionescu (19.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 5.3 APG) leads the point totals at 18.5 O/U, while Kayla McBride (14.8 PPG, 2.4 RPG, 3.3 APG) has the highest total for the likely-shorthanded Lynx at 15.5 O/U. McBride has gone over that total in four of the last six, but is averaging exactly 15.0 PPG in the four games without Collier.
Lynx vs Liberty Picks & Predictions
Minnesota point guard Courtney Williams (14.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 6.3 APG) has seen a much bigger spike in scoring production since Collier left the lineup. In Minnesota’s four games without the soon-to-be league MVP, Williams has averaged 18.5 PPG, more than four points above her season average, hitting the 20-point plateau twice.
Williams is averaging 17.3 FGA per game over the last four, compared to just 13.4 per game for the season as a whole. Collier’s absences obviously creates a vacuum that needs to be filled, and the 31-year-old point guard has been more than happy to call her own number.
In light of Minnesota’s recent success against New York – which game without Collier – I can’t not bet the Lynx moneyline at significant plus-money. Minnesota has been far and away the best team in the league all season, and Cheryl Reeve’s team has adjusted stunningly well to life without Collier.
