WNBA Title Odds Movement Timeline
- October 10 – The Las Vegas Aces are your 2025 WNBA Champions! Behind by A’ja Wilson’s 31 points, the Aces completed the four-games sweep to lock up their third league title.
- October 9 – The Aces have one hand on the WNBA Championship trophy! Thanks to a Game 3 buzzer beater from A’ja Wilson, Las Vegas is now getting -4000 to clinch their third title in four season on Friday.
- October 6 – After winning Games 1 & 2 over the weekend, the Aces are now getting -450 to win the WNBA Finals, as the series moves to Phoenix for Game 3 on Wednesday.
- October 1 – The Las Vegas Aces are back in the WNBA Finals! After a one-year absence, the Aces, who’s odds were as high as +2500 back in August, are now -135 favorites to win their third championship in four years after finishing off the Fever in last night’s Game 5 OT. They’ll be taking on the Phoenix Mercury who opened at +4000 but are now +115 underdogs after taking down the league-best Lynx earlier this week.
- September 29 – Minnesota is out! Phoenix has knocked off the No. 1-seed Lynx and are now getting -110 to win their first WNBA title since 2014, as they await the winner of Game 5 between the Aces and Fever.
- September 20 – Caitlin Clark may be gone for the season, but that’s not stopping Indiana! After completing the upset of Atlanta on Thursday, the Fever’s title odds are now sitting at +3000.
- September 10 – Seattle’s one-point win last night clinched the final playoff spot for the Storm, who enter the 2025 WNBA playoffs as a +4500 longshot. As they’ve been all season, the Lynx (+115) and Liberty (+330) remain as the two teams to beat.
- September 5 – The Fever continue to tumble down the odds table and now, with Caitlin Clark ruled out for the rest of the season, they’re getting just +15000 to win their first title.
- August 13 – We have a new favorite! The difference is minute, but Minnesota (+148) is now averaging slightly better odds to win the WNBA Championship than New York (+169).
- July 17 – The Mercury have finally climbed into the Top 3 on the odds table. Going into the all-star break, Phoenix are now getting +500 to win their first WNBA title since 2014.
- July 4 – Last night’s 27-point loss to the Fever wasn’t just a bad look for Las Vegas; the Aces are now getting title odds as high as +1800, the longest they’ve been all season (and possibly years).
- June 25 – Over the past month, it’s been the rise of the Valkyries. Winners in five of their last six games, expansion Golden State has seen their WNBA title odds shorten from +40000 to +15000.
- June 13 – Atlanta’s 6-3 start to the season hasn’t just place the Dream in second place, they’ve also shrunken their WNBA Title odds from a preseason average of +5214 to its current +3275.
- May 16 – There’s renewed faith in the Pacific Northwest on the eve of the new WNBA season, as the Storm’s average title odds shortened sharply, from +5000 to +3500.
- April 21 – Just like everyone predicted, Paige Bueckers went first overall to Dallas in last week’s WNBA Draft. However, selecting the All-American did little to bump their championship odds; the Wings are still averaging +8929 to win a WNBA title in 2025.
- March 14 – Can the Liberty run it back? At +210 the New York Liberty, champions in 2024, are early favorites to win the 2025 WNBA Championship. They sit just ahead of the previous champs, the Las Vegas Aces (+295), who went back-to-back in ’22 and ’23. Unexpectedly, the expansion Golden State Valkyries (+20000) open their first campaign at the bottom of the odds table.
