DraftKings Alberta Review

If you want a more in-depth idea of what to expect from the DraftKings app, our DraftKings review has all the info you’ll need. That said, we do have some info to share in this section so you’re not left scratching your head.

Types of Bets Available at DraftKings AB

Take a look at some of the most common betting options that you’re able to make at DraftKings Sportsbook in Alberta:

• Moneyline: The simplest type of bet you can make, you’re essentially just picking the winner of a certain game or event. For example, you might see the Edmonton Oilers (-200) against the Calgary Flames (+150) in the Battle of Alberta. For a moneyline bet of this nature, the Oilers would be the favourites over the Flames and you would win your wager for betting on them if they won their game.
• Spread betting: Betting on the point spread requires your chosen team to win a game by certain number of points. If the Oilers are listed at -1.5 over the Flames, then they would need to beat their rivals by a minimum of two goals in order for you to win the bet.
• Total (Over/Under): This type of bet means you’re betting on the total score of the game to be over or under a certain amount. If the total for an Oilers vs. Flames game is set at 5.5 goals, then you’ll need a total of six goals scored in the game for you to win the bet if you picked the over.
• Parlays: Parlays are bets that combine more than one wager from more than one game. DraftKings also offers same-game parlays which is a combination of different types of bets from one game versus the traditional parlay that combines different bets from different games or events.
• Props: Props are very specific types of bets that can apply to the team (team props) or individual players (player props) down to very novel props like Super Bowl halftime performances and Gatorade colour.
• Live Betting: Bet on games as they happen in real-time with odds that change according to how the game is going. It’s an exciting way to get in on the action of game or event while it’s happening and you’re watching.
• Futures: Futures bets are exactly what they sound like, betting on an outcome that is in the future. If you think the Oilers will win a Stanley Cup in 2026, for example, DraftKings will have futures odds on that happening usually before the NHL season starts so you can land the best odds.

Key Features at DraftKings Sportsbook Alberta
