At +105, you’re getting plus money on this, which is a steal considering what we just watched. The pregame interception prop was -118 at Caesars, and that was before Maye took three sacks and nearly threw a pick. You’re now getting favorable odds on a prop where you should be laying juice.

The case starts with Maye’s playoff history. He threw interceptions in two of his three postseason games coming in, getting picked against both the Chargers and the Texans. The only clean game was a snowstorm in Denver where he attempted just 21 passes. During the regular season, he threw a pick in eight of 17 games.

Seattle’s defense is built to take the ball away. The Seahawks had 18 interceptions this year, fifth in the NFL, and already picked off Brock Purdy in the divisional round. They’re fifth in opponent dropback EPA and fourth in opponent dropback success rate. This isn’t a unit that got hot at the right time. They’ve been doing this all season.

Patriots vs Seahawks First Half Stats

The pass rush has been a problem for Maye all postseason. He’s taken 15 sacks over three playoff games before tonight, the second-most by any player in a single postseason in Super Bowl era history. When he gets pressured, he takes a sack on 45.5% of those plays, the worst mark among playoff quarterbacks. And when he doesn’t go down, he scrambles and throws into coverage. That’s where picks come from.

Now add the game script. If Seattle maintains this lead into the third and fourth quarters, New England has no choice but to air it out. The run game gets squeezed, Maye’s dropbacks go up, and more obvious passing situations mean more chances for Seattle’s secondary to jump routes.

The pregame full-game interception prop was -118 at Caesars, so the market already decided the most likely outcome was at least one Maye pick. Now you’re getting the second half alone at +105 after watching three sacks and a near-INT. The line hasn’t adjusted enough for what we saw in the first half.

Super Bowl Second Half Odds

Second half lines reset the score to 0-0, so Seattle -1.5 means the Seahawks just need to outscore New England by 2 in the final 30 minutes. The full game live spread has moved to Seattle -8.5, which tells you the market expects this to get away from the Patriots. More chasing, more Maye dropbacks, more chances for a pick.

You don’t need the Patriots to collapse. You just need one mistake from a young quarterback chasing points against the best defense in football. At -105, you’re basically flipping a coin on a prop that should be laying juice. That’s the value.
