He had some of the shortest odds all season, never going longer than his opening +600, but there was still work to do for Kyle Larson in the 2025 NASCAR Championship. His quick pit with three laps left allowed Larson to get enough of a lead over Denny Hamlin and capture his second NASCAR Cup.

Odds as of October 27th, 2025 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Notes on the NASCAR Cup odds movement over the course of the season include:
- November 3 – Kyle Larson is your 2025 NASCAR Cup Champion! When a caution flag came out with just three laps to go, Larson came out of pit road with just new two tires, as opposed to then-race leader Denny Hamlin, who opted for four. That extra time dropped Hamlin to 11th, who could not make up ground on Larson during the overtime sprint.
- October 27 – William Byron has clinched his place in the NASCAR Cup finals! Getting +3000 before the Xfinity 500, Byron needed the win at Martinsville to guarantee his place in the finals. He’s now getting +275 to win his first championship, and will be up against Denny Hamlin (+200), Kyle Larson (+250), and Chase Briscoe (+370).
- October 21 – Last week, he was sitting at the bottom of the odds table, but after winning the YellaWood 500, Chase Briscoe is moving on to the NASCAR Cup Championship Race. Briscoe is now getting odds as low as +350 with one race left before the finals.
- October 6 – Shane van Gisbergen picked up his fifth(!) road course win of 2025 on Sunday, and in doing prevented drivers still in the playoffs from picking up a guaranteed advance to the next round. Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace, Ross Chastain, and Austin Cindric are now out, and Ryan Blaney remains as favorite at +400.
- September 29 – Chase Elliott picked a great time to nab his second win of the season! His win at the Kansas Speedway on Sunday secured his place in the Round of 8 and shifted his cup odds form +1100 to +600.
- September 22 – Ryan Blaney has clinches his place in the Round of 8 by picking up his third win of the season in Loudon this weekend. He’s now getting +350 to win the cup while William Byron, who finished third on Sunday and is second in the playoff standings, is now at +550.
- September 1 – Chase Briscoe has booked his place in the second round of the playoffs by winning at Darlington on Sunday. With a three-point gap at the top of the playoff table, he’s now getting +900 to win the championship.
- August 11 – After becoming the first driver to win four road races in a single season, Shane van Gisbergen has seen his cup odds shorten to as low as +2000.
- July 29 – Bubba Wallace has punched his ticket! After winning the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, Wallace clinched his spot in the NASCAR Cup playoffs and instantly saw his average odds shorten from +4667 to +2875.
- July 14 – With odds as long as +25000 back in early June, Shane van Gisbergen is now getting +2500 after picking up his third win of the season over the weekend in Sonoma.
- June 15 – With a big win at the Viva Mexico 250, Shane van Gisbergen likely now has one foot in the NASCAR Cup playoffs. He’s now sitting at +5000 in the current cup odds table.
- May 12 – The 2025 NASCAR Cup season now has two drivers boasting three wins – and we’re just twelve races into the year! Kyle Larson captured the checkered flag in Kansas City over the weekend and is now getting +275 to bag his second cup win.
- April 28 – Austin Cindric picked up his first win of the season on Sunday (not counting the preseason Duel at Daytona), but his road to the cup is still long: at +3700, he’s still sitting far down the odds table.
- March 3 – Christopher Bell just made it two wins in a row! After a disappointing finish in the Daytona 500, Bell has claimed back-to-back wins in Atlanta and Austin. He now heads the 2025 NASCAR Cup odds table, jumping from +550 to +400.
- January 23 – With the season’s first race just over a week away, Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell open as co-favorites, with Larson’s average odds at +540 and Bell’s at +570. Not far behind them is William Byron (+700), ’23 champ Ryan Blaney (+720), Denny Hamlin (+750) , and Tyler Reddick (+880). Last season’s cup winner, Joey Logano, is next at +900.
