Knicks vs Spurs Summer League Odds, Prediction & Best Bet (Jul. 11)

- The Knicks and Spurs run it back in Las Vegas, a Summer League spin on June’s NBA Finals
- Both teams dropped their Vegas openers, so someone grabs a first win Saturday night

A month ago these two were playing for the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Now the New York Knicks (0-1) and San Antonio Spurs (0-1) meet again in Las Vegas. This time it’s rookies and roster hopefuls filling the jerseys, not the guys who actually settled the Finals.
Both squads stumbled out of the gate in Vegas, so there’s a little extra edge to a game that’s technically an exhibition. Sportsbooks have posted a clear number in the latest NBA odds, and I’ll get into whether it holds up.
Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm ET from Las Vegas, with ESPN on the call.
Knicks vs Spurs Odds
The latest Knicks vs Spurs odds have San Antonio as a 4.5-point favorite and -185 on the moneyline, which works out to roughly a 65% implied probability of a Spurs win. New York sits as a +155 underdog, and the total is set at 174.5.
That’s a wider gap than most of the board tonight, and it leans on the Spurs simply having more NBA-caliber talent in uniform.

Knicks vs Spurs Prediction
For my Knicks vs Spurs prediction, I’m siding with San Antonio to win and cover. The talent gap decides this one, and it starts with the lone player on either roster who logged actual Finals minutes.
That’s Carter Bryant, the 2025 first-round pick who appeared in 22 of San Antonio’s 23 playoff games this spring. He struggled in the opener, a 93-66 loss to the Hawks, and didn’t shy away from it afterward. Bryant called the loss unacceptable and admitted he was still knocking off rust after not playing since Game 5 of the Finals.
That kind of chip is exactly what you want to see from your best player in a throwaway July game. Bryant set the tone defensively in the second half of that opener, per his coach, and a day of rest before Saturday should have him sharper. When the most accomplished guy on the floor is also the most motivated, I’ll ride with him.
The Knicks, by contrast, aren’t bringing much to Vegas. Most of their regular rotation is already locked in for next season, leaving a summer roster of returnees and second-rounders. New York got run off the floor by the Nets in its opener, losing 91-65, which tells you plenty about the depth gap.
Knicks vs Spurs Best Bet
- Spurs -4.5 (-110 at BetMGM)
My Knicks vs Spurs best bet is San Antonio to cover the 4.5. Beyond Bryant, the Spurs are auditioning a draft class built around size, and that frontcourt should be a problem for a thin New York group.
Second-round center Tarris Reed Jr. is the one to watch inside. New York got out-muscled on the glass by Brooklyn in its opener, and a physical finisher like Reed is well-suited to punish that. San Antonio just has more paths to points here.
The one thing keeping me from laying a bigger number is the nature of Summer League itself. Rotations are unpredictable, coaches yank starters early in blowouts, and a backdoor cover is always in play. I’m comfortable with the Spurs at this spread, but I’m not parlaying it into oblivion.
