Ontario Online Casino Revenue Reaches Record $330.4 Million In July

For the second time in three months, Ontario online casinos set a revenue record in July.

Last month, Ontario iGaming recorded CA$330.4 million in revenue, besting the previous record that was set in May when the province tallied $326.4 million.

July’s total was up 4.3% compared to June ($316.8 million) and up 30.9% compared to July 2025, when Ontario had only $252.4 million in revenue.

The record revenue in July also came from a record number of wagers. According to iGaming Ontario, the province received CA$8.78 billion in handle through online casinos last month.

Third Record-Setting Month Since December

Prior to December 2025, Ontario had never amassed over $305 million in iGaming revenue for a given month.

Now, Ontario has had at least $310 million in revenue in seven of the last eight months, with February being the only exception. During this stretch, three monthly records for revenue have been set.

• December 2025: $320.7 million
• May 2026: $326.4 million
• July 2026: $330.4 million

Revenue Up Over 30% in 2026

The online casinos in Canada are seeing strong growth rates in 2026.

With July’s latest record, the province has surpassed $2 billion in iGaming revenue for 2026 already.

Altogether, revenue is up 30.1% when compared to the first seven months of 2025.

Ontario will easily get past $3 billion in 2026 online casino revenue. The question is just how close to $4 billion can the province get?

Online Casino Wagers Surpass $50 billion in 2026

July’s record-setting wager total pushed the province’s total in 2026 past $50 billion, all the way to $57.78 billion.

Prior to December, Ontario had never surpassed $8 billion in monthly iGaming wagers.

• July: $8.78 billion

Last year at this time, Ontario had $45.84 billion in online casino wagers. That’s a 26% jump up in handle in 2026.
