With nearly a decade working in the industry, Matt is a seasoned sports betting veteran. He got his start with SBD in 2016 as a sports betting writer and worked his way up the ladder to become the Editor-in-Chief, seeing the site through being acquired by XL Media. Along the way he has done everything from reviewing sportsbooks, testing sports betting apps, breaking down betting promos, analyzing matchups, tracking futures odds/markets, offering picks, building a score predicting formula, and creating SBD's proprietary sports betting tools and metrics, including his own NFL SOS and win probability calculations among others. Whether watching, playing, coaching, broadcasting or betting, Matt has spent his entire life around sports. After working in television as a broadcaster and producer, Matt has turned his focus towards numbers, specifically odds for SBD. Matt never stops crunching odds/stats to create new products and tools for SBD's audience to continue winning at the books Matt's favorite sport to bet is NFL, but he is frequently betting NBA, College Basketball, MLB, and NHL among other sports. His most frequent bet types are spread, moneyline, player props, and totals.
