[July 22] Sportsbooks released updated college football win totals for the 2025 regular season. Four teams shared the highest at 10.5 wins: Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Notre Dame.

2025 Biggest Overs and Unders

The 2025 regular season was defined by one of the most improbable runs in college football history. Indiana’s storybook season smashed their preseason number while a few preseason darlings cratered.

Biggest Overs

  • Indiana (Win Total: 8.5) — The Hoosiers cleared their number by Week 9 and never lost a game. Curt Cignetti’s team finished 16-0 and won the national title, the first perfect season in college football since 1897.
  • Miami (Win Total: 9.5) — Carson Beck’s Hurricanes went on an unexpected playoff run, knocking off Ohio State along the way and reaching the national championship game.

Biggest Unders

  • Texas (Win Total: 9.5) — Arch Manning’s debut season fell flat with a Week 1 loss to Ohio State. The Longhorns underwhelmed for most of the year and missed the playoff entirely.
  • Alabama (Win Total: 9.5) — A shocking 31-17 Week 1 loss to Florida State dropped the Tide to No. 21 in the AP Poll, and they never fully recovered.
