Another world title fight bring boxing back to TNT on Saturday night with a four-fight Premier Boxing Champions card headlined by Sebastian Fundora (24-1-1) and Ermal Hadribeaj (23-0-1).

Fundora and Hadribeaj duel for the former’s WBC super welterweight title, a belt he has maintained for over two years. Hadribeaj, the WBC’s No. 1 contender, earned his shot with a decision nod over Bakary Samake in May to win the organizational silver 154-pound belt.

Two belts were initially scheduled to be on the line on Saturday night, but a weight miss from now-former WBA featherweight champion Brandon Figueroa caused his scheduled title defense against Tomoki Kameda to get scrapped on fight day. Instead, former champion Armando Resendiz’s bout with Koen Mazoudier will fill the co-main event slot.

The main card simulcasts on DAZN and TNT beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

As a 6-foot-6 super welterweight, it will be difficult to find an opponent against whom Fundora would not be favored. That is the case once again in this fight, as ‘The Towering Inferno’ is billed as a hefty -1900 favorite on Kalshi, an implied win probability of 95 percent. Hadribeaj returns as the biggest underdog of the card at +1567.

Resendiz is a closer favorite in the co-main event, but he is still lined at -733 over Mazoudier. The original co-main event between Figueroa and Kameda was expected to be the closest fight of the night before its cancellation resulted in a quartet o lopsided matchups.

Sebastian Fundora vs. Ermal Hadribeaj Prediction

Fundroa’s height and frame is a problem for everyone in this division. His eight-inch height advantage will be the biggest obstacle for Hadribeaj to maneuver, especially with how effective the champion is at picking off his opponents as they try to fight past his reach.

Hadribeaj, promoted as ‘The Albanian Sniper,’ is effectively a smaller version of Fundora as an accurate southpaw who does his best work on the outside. He will have to divert from his traditional game plan in this matchup and be the aggressor, which he is also comfortable doing. Hadribeaj is an effective pressure fighter, but he can get reckless on his entries, which is a dangerous game to play against the champion.

Applying as much pressure as Hadribeaj will need to beat Fundora will play directly into the champion’s hands. Still, Hadribeaj has great eyes and is always defensively sound. The 32-year-old also has enough power in his own left hand to command respect.

Fundora’s long-arm power is always dangerous, but in a technical battle between two southpaws, this might turn into a bit more of a chess match than fans are used to seeing from the skyscraping champion.

Armando Resendiz vs. Koen Mazoudier Best Bet

What was originally supposed to be a soft comeback spot for Jermall Charlo will instead be a tremendous rebound opportunity for Armando Resendiz. The former interim super middleweight champion is a massive favorite over Australia’s Mazoudier, who is turning around just two months after a hard-fought win over Sam Beck.

The six-foot-tall Mazoudier will be slightly bigger than Resendiz, but any size advantage will be negated by the speed and pressure of ‘Toro.’ The Mexican combines relentless forward movement with fast hands and bullet-proof cardio that allowed him to reach the top of the mountain.

Mazoudier is scrappy and has never backed down from a challenge, but his defensive woes have repeatedly been his downfall. Although he has battled through adversity before, ‘S.O.G.’ has never faced the constant pressure and volume he will have to overcome from Resendiz.

The openings in Mazoudier’s guard will be available for Resendiz all night. The 27-year-old is primed to rebound from his title-losing loss to Jaime Munguia in May by getting back into the knockout column on Saturday night.

Marco Romero vs. Braulio Ferreira Prediction

Fresh off back-to-back first-round knockouts, Marco Romero is the next prospect to get his shot to steal the spotlight on TNT. The American knockout artist’s showcase opportunity comes against Uruguayan journeyman Braulian Ferreira.

Thirteen of Romero’s 15 pro wins have come by knockout, including 12 within the first two rounds. Romero has hardly broken a sweat since making his debut in mid-2024, albeit against subpar competition. He isn’t facing anyone who will push him any further on Saturday night.

Despite being 14 years older and making his pro debut six years earlier, Ferreira is the less experienced fighter. He is a natural-born fighter who is always ready for any task, but he will find himself at a severe speed, skill and power disadvantage against Romero.

Romero’s record implies reckless brawling tendencies with a bevy of early knockouts. Instead, he fights with extreme composure, discipline and maturity well beyond his years and will pick Ferreira apart until he smells blood in the water.
