Fury vs Wilder 3 Past Results Betting Analysis

The first Fury versus Wilder installment saw the two warriors go the full distance.

Still, it’s important to apply the context to that contest where Fury entered that bout after a couple of warm-up fights following multiple years off. Not only being competitively inactive but overcoming a myriad of personal demons to get back to fighting.

I foresee the third fight bearing more of a pugilistic profile to the sequel affair than the first fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

I think the scorecards of the judges will not come into play in determining the outcome of this fight. Both fighters have serious power, which is why this betting line is at -285 in the DraftKings boxing odds.

Pick: No (-285)

Tyson Fury Odds Favor Knockout

I think there are some who are positing that Fury perhaps will not be as motivated for this fight considering that he is 1-0-1 over Wilder so far. Tyson Fury arguably won both bouts in the eyes of many and some recent factors in his personal life have pundits pontificating on if Wilder is getting this trilogy fight at a perfect time.

Fury’s baby daughter getting out of intensive care later-Summer and testing positive for COVID 19 in July have some wondering if this creates a certain set of circumstances for Deontay Wilder to capitalize on.

The disparity between Wilder winning via decision versus KO/ TKO in the odds is emblematic of his combative approach and his path to victory should he win.

I just feel like, despite all of the new additions to his training methodology, Wilder has still not meaningfully addressed that he comprehensively lost to Fury. His delusion-heavy excuses don’t provide me with a great deal of confidence that Wilder can get his first win of the Fury series.

I see Fury halting the proceedings here and doing so in an even quicker fashion than the last bout. Compared to Fury’s moneyline odds, this KO prop at -115 offers some value in the Fury vs Wilder 3 odds at DraftKings.

Pick: Tyson Fury by KO, TKO, or DQ (-115)

When Does Fury vs Wilder 3 End?

It’s curious to infer why the particular round groupings are laid out as they are for each pugilist.

Fury is thought to be likeliest to turn Wilder’s lights out between rounds six and round eight.

It’s sort of interesting that the oddsmakers see Wilder as being likeliest to win between rounds four to six. This sort of coincides with Mike Tyson’s advice to The Bronze Bomber leading into this third go-around with Fury, which is urging him to heat seek the finish in the first handful of rounds.

Many bettors evidently think Wilder has the potential to top the show even earlier than that, however.

I think Fury is far too good at managing the distance to put himself in a poorly placed position. So as to have Wilder be able to really plant his feet and generate that highlight reel garnering punch.

With most of the bets going towards a Wilder first round knockout at a whopping +5000 in the boxing odds, I would look somewhere else to place your round betting prop wager. Tyson Fury secured a TKO stoppage in the seventh round of their February 2020 rematch. I think The Gypsy King gets the knockout in round six over Wilder. These odds are always the longest in boxing betting lines, but +1200 offers some serious boom or bust territory in the Fury vs Wilder 3 odds.

Pick: Tyson Fury Round 6 (+1200)
