The college football AI picks enter Week 7 looking to rebound from a difficult Week 6. The Sportradar model went 2-8 against the spread and 2-8 on totals for a 4-16 board with no pushes.

That drags the season back to even at 32-29 ATS and 29-32 on totals, or 61-61 overall. Week 7 offers 10 more games, starting Friday night in New Orleans.

Here is the full slate, followed by four matchups worth a closer look and the complete Week 6 ledger.

Ohio State at Indiana Prediction & AI Picks

  • Spread pick: Indiana +3.5 (-111 at BetMGM)
  • Total pick: Under 50.5 (-105 at BetMGM)

This is the game of the week and it is not particularly close. No. 4 Ohio State is 5-1, No. 5 Indiana is 6-0 and both are 3-0 in the Big Ten. Kickoff is noon ET on FOX.

Ohio State rolled Maryland 45-16 last week behind 449 total yards, split almost evenly at 242 passing and 207 rushing. Julian Sayin threw for 242, Bo Jackson ran for 107 and the defense held Maryland to 146 yards.

Jeremiah Smith added 93 receiving yards. That balance gives Indiana more to account for than the Ohio State passing attack alone.

Indiana’s case starts on defense. The Hoosiers are allowing 11.8 points per game, giving up just 75 rushing yards a week and sitting on 20 sacks through six games.

They can also run it. Indiana averages 221.3 rushing yards and 40.2 points per game, and Josh Hoover has thrown for 1,364 yards with 17 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Hoover was at his best late at Nebraska, finishing with 263 passing yards while Nick Marsh went for 187 receiving in a 20-17 win. The Ohio State vs Indiana model picks take the home points and the under, which fits a defense giving up under 12 points a game and a run-first offense that keeps the clock moving. Notre Dame at BYU Prediction & AI Picks

  • Spread pick: Notre Dame -10.5 (-111 at BetMGM)
  • Total pick: Under 46.5 (-105 at BetMGM)

No. 2 Notre Dame is 6-0 and No. 8 BYU is 5-0, making this the only Week 7 game between unbeaten Top 10 teams. College GameDay is headed to Provo for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC.

The Irish ran past Stanford 58-7 and did most of the damage on the ground. True freshman Jonaz Walton went for 181 yards on 13 carries with touchdown runs of 97 and 40 yards.

BYU got there a different way. Bear Bachmeier went 22-of-30 for 329 yards and two touchdowns while adding 109 rushing yards in a 24-10 win over Iowa State.

That is the heart of this Notre Dame vs BYU matchup. A quarterback who can beat you twice meets a Notre Dame team that just controlled a game from the first snap without needing to throw it around.

The model lays the 10.5 and takes Under 46.5. Notre Dame’s rushing production offers a route to controlling the game, while an Irish defense that held Stanford to 202 total yards, including 58 rushing, supports the lower-scoring projection.

Alabama at Tennessee Prediction & AI Picks

  • Spread pick: Alabama -8.5 (-118 at BetMGM)
  • Total pick: Under 51.5 (-105 at BetMGM)

Both teams are 5-1 and both arrive in very different moods. Alabama lost 20-17 to Georgia, while Tennessee won 24-17 at Arkansas. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Georgia game was a grind for the Crimson Tide. Georgia outgained Alabama 455-346, piling up 249 passing yards and 206 rushing while holding the Tide to 185 through the air and 161 on the ground.

Keelon Russell threw for those 185 yards and Trae’shawn Brown led the ground game with 90. Alabama still only lost by three to the team ranked ahead of everyone else, which is the argument for backing them now.

The Alabama vs Tennessee picks lean on what both teams just showed. Neither reached 25 points last week, and a 51.5 total asks for considerably more than that from two defenses playing at this level.

Florida at Texas Prediction & AI Picks

  • Spread pick: Texas -10.5 (-118 at BetMGM)
  • Total pick: Over 52.5 (+100 at BetMGM)

Two teams walk into this one off losses they would rather forget. Texas dropped the Red River game 27-24 to Oklahoma and fell from No. 1 to No. 7, while Florida lost 38-19 at home to South Carolina and is now 4-2 and unranked. Noon ET on ABC.

Florida’s defense is the reason this number is double digits. South Carolina hung 38 on the Gators with LaNorris Sellers throwing for 279 yards and accounting for five touchdowns.

Texas has the ceiling to take advantage. The Longhorns put 59 on Texas State earlier this season, so a defense that just gave up five scores to one quarterback is the right opponent to get that offense going again.

That is where the Florida vs Texas picks come together. A Texas team scoring the way it can against this Florida secondary covers the 10.5 and clears 52.5 in the same game, with the Gators needing to answer to keep pace.

The Week 6 college football AI picks finished 2-8 against the spread and 2-8 on totals, a 4-16 board with no pushes. Missouri was the only game where both predictions cashed.

The close ones all went the wrong way. Georgia won by three at Alabama, Oklahoma won by three in Dallas, North Carolina won by four at Pitt, and Indiana won outright at Nebraska without covering the 7.5.

That week pulls the season back to 32-29 ATS and 29-32 on totals, or 61-61 overall.
