The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to wrap up a successful three-game road trip with their fifth straight road win.
They’ll have to go through the Phoenix Suns to do it.
Phoenix, fresh off clinching the NBA’s top seed, has not taken their foot off the gas all season. Their latest run is a seven-game win streak, capped by the return of Chris Paul last time out.
They’ve also had Philly’s number in recent head-to-heads, winning five straight. Add that all up, and the books have them as a 5-point favorite in this potential NBA Finals matchup.

Philadelphia 76ers Betting Analysis
The Sixers may have looked the best they’ve been in the James Harden era with a crushing 122-97 win Friday night against the Clippers, completing the all-LA sweep.
The 97 points allowed are the fewest the team has had since acquiring the Beard. On the year, they’re allowing just 106.5 points per game, which ranks sixth-best in the NBA.

Offensively, it was their superstar duo that led the way. Harden led the team in scoring with 29 points, while adding 15 rebounds and seven assists. Harden was in attack mode all night, getting rewarded by going 11-for-11 from the stripe.
Harden is averaging 23 points, 9.9 assists and 7.6 rebounds in 13 games since being acquired by Philadelphia.

Joel Embiid, the leading candidate in the 2022 NBA MVP odds, did his usual damage, dropping 27 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of blocks.
Perhaps the best news, however, is veteran Tobias Harris finding his footing in Philly’s new core-four. He’s averaging 14.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in March, including a 48.7% mark from the field and 40% clip from deep.
Phoenix Suns Betting Analysis
There’s no denying Phoenix means business. They’ve been in redemption mode literally from the opening tip of the season, and that’s helped them to the NBA’s best record, and the only team to have 30 home wins and 30 road wins.
The Suns’ best ability is to morph into whatever team they need to be in order to win games. They’re second in scoring offense, and seventh in points allowed.

Take their last win against the Nuggets. Phoenix surrendered 130 points to Denver — yet matched a season-high with 140 points scored to pick up their seventh-straight W.
Devin Booker set a season-high with 49 points, while adding 10 assists, four boards and three steals. Chris Paul, out the last 15 games with a thumb injury, pumped in 17 points, 13 assists and four rebounds in his return.

The Suns have been scorching offensively in this latest hot-streak: they’re averaging 131.6 points per game, and haven’t scored less than 125 in any of those games.
One of the bright spots in Paul’s absence was big man Deandre Ayton, who is playing the best hoops of his young career as he goes head-to-head with Embiid. He’s averaging 19.9 points and 10 rebounds in 13 March games, shooting a blistering 65.6% from the field.
76ers vs Clippers Prediction
This game means a lot more to Philly than Phoenix, on more than one front. Saturday’s results had Miami and Milwaukee both losing, vaulting the Sixers into first in the East, a position they’d want to keep.
They also want to prove they can compete with the top teams in the 2022 NBA Championship odds. While they did beat a struggling Heat team, they were blasted by the Brooklyn Nets.
Phoenix won the previous meeting between these two on Feb 8, a 114-109 win. Booker led the way with 35 points, while Paul had 16 points and 12 dimes. Embiid had 34 points and 12 boards to lead Philly. This was pre-Harden.
Despite their scintillating 30-8 home mark, the Suns are just 18-20 against the spread, though they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven. Philly is 25-11 away from home, and 21-14-1 ATS. They are 19-10 against West opposition.
I see the Sixers bringing this game to their pace — the slowest in the NBA — and Phoenix adjusting to that style to pull out a win in a lower-scoring affair.
