Sunday across the Association should be very exciting, with a total of eight contests on the slate. All the action begins bright and early as the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics battle it out, while the Phoenix Suns visit the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA Finals rematch.

Elsewhere, the slumping Toronto Raptors face the Cleveland Cavaliers. Also, the red-hot New Orleans Pelicans, who have been absolutely rejuvenated since the arrival of CJ McCollum, take a trip to the Mile High City to take on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

Bridges Takes Charge For The Suns

The Phoenix Suns remain at the top of the NBA with a stellar 51-12 record. However, they’ve been without Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Now, you can add Cam Johnson to that list, who just dropped 38 on Friday night at MSG but sustained a quad injury. That being said, this is going to be Mikal Bridges’ time to shine. The former Villanova standout is enjoying a productive season, posting averages of 13.5 points, 4.3 boards, and 2.2 dimes per night.

With the Suns missing three of their best players sidelined, there aren’t many other options to step up and deliver offensively. Bridges is also coming off a 20-point night against the Knicks and should see a huge increase in workload on Sunday vs. Milwaukee. While he has only hit the over in points once in his last four games, this feels like a no-brainer because of just how depleted Phoenix is. Lock it in.

  • Pick: Mikal Bridges Over 16.5 Points (-110)

Barrett The Playmaker

The Knicks might be atrocious this season, but RJ Barrett has been one of their lone bright spots. He’s been showing out offensively since the start of February, but the focus for Sunday will be his playmaking. The ex-Duke star isn’t typically a high-level facilitator. After all, RJ is averaging just 2.8 assists per contest in 2021/22. However, the 21-year-old is getting his teammates involved a lot more lately.

Barrett has hit the over in dimes in three games in a row, most recently dishing out five on Friday in a heartbreaking loss to the Suns. Prior to that, he collected 13 assists combined in back-to-back outings against the Philadelphia 76ers. Both of the aforementioned teams are very good defensively, yet Barrett managed to not only score but also efficiently distribute the rock. If you need more convincing, the Knicks phenom handed out six assists in his last meeting with the Clippers in January. This bet holds tons of value.

  • Pick: RJ Barrett Over 3.5 Assists (+104)
