A total of 10 games are on the NBA schedule for Saturday and the marquee matchup has the Denver Nuggets visiting the Los Angeles Clippers at 10pm ET at the Staples Center.

While both teams are almost assured of hosting first-round playoff series in the Western Conference, this game is important for seeding. The Clippers are five-point favorites.

The Clippers (43-21) are in third place in the West and the Nuggets (42-21) right behind in fourth. The Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz are tied for first with 45-18 records.

Here is a rundown of key injuries to be aware of Saturday.

NBA Injury News – May 1st

  • The Mavericks will have Luka Doncic (bruised elbow) back in the lineup when they host the Wizards
  • The Raptors will be without Kyle Lowry (rest) as they visit the Jazz
  • The Hornets have an outside chance of getting star rookie LaMelo Ball (broken wrist) for their game against the Pistons

The Pistons have a host of players who will not play, led by leading scorer Jerami Grant (right knee soreness), and including Mason Plumlee (rest), Cory Joseph (left ankle inflammation), Wayne Ellington (strained calves) and Hamidou Diallo (right knee soreness).

The Hornets could be getting LaMelo Ball (broken right wrist) and Malik Monk (sprained right ankle) back as both are listed as questionable following lengthy absences. Ball has missed 21 games and Monk has sat out 15.
