Senior guard Jeremiah Davenport also had 19 points as he was 5 of 8 on three pointers while raising his season scoring average to 10.1. He pulled down eight rebounds for Cincinnati, which was hammered 46-27 on the boards.

Senior guard David DeJulius finished with 15 points and five assists. He is scoring 14.3 points and dishing 5.0 assists a game while standing fifth in the AAC in assists.

Sophomore forward Viktor Lahkin has averages of 12.5 points, 7.2 points and 1.2 blocked shots. His 62.5 field goal percentage is second in the conference, and he is fifth in rejections.

UCF Betting Trends

An inefficient offensive game kept UCF from knocking off Memphis on Thursday.

The Knights shot just 32.3% (20 of 62) from the field. They also had 24 turnovers, including five each by freshman forward Taylor Hendricks and sophomore guard Darius Johnson.

Meanwhile, Memphis made 54.5% (24 of 44) of its shots to overcome 15 turnovers and five steals by Johnson. The Knights lost a heartbreaker as the Tigers’ Damaria Franklin scored the game-winning layup with seven seconds left.

Hendricks led UCF with 17 points. He is averaging 14.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots a game. Hendricks is second in the AAC in blocks and fifth with a 47.7 field goal percentage.

In addition to the five steals, Johnson finished with 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds. He has season averages of 11.8 points, 4.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 steals. Johnson is second in the conference in steals.

Senior wing Brandon Suggs added 11 points and sophomore guard Jayhlon Young contributed 10 points.

Two transfer senior guards – C.J. Kelly (12.1) and Ithiel Horton (12.0) – are averaging 22.1 points a game. Kelly transferred from Massachusetts and Horton played for Pittsburgh.

UCF is 18th in the nation in free throw shooting (76.7%) and 30th in three-point field goal defense (30.5%).

Cincinnati vs UCF Prediction

The teams have split their last six games with Cincinnati winning 73-64 on Feb. 4 at home. Lahkin led the Bearcats with 20 points and Hendricks scored 21 points for UCF.

Hendricks figures to again be a handful again for Cincinnati but look for Lahkin and the veteran guards to keep the Bearcats in the game.

Pick: Cincinnati +3.5 (-110)

Season record: 31-24 (+4.6 units) ATS, 3-8 (-4.5 units) ML
