Herbert has hit this milestone in six of his last eight affairs. For four games of the season, he was without the services of Mike Williams, and rarely did he play with a full complement of skill position players. That didn’t stop him from throwing for the second highest passing yards in the league (4,739). The Jags have the 24th ranked coverage unit, according to Pro Football Focus.

SGP Pick #2: Travis Etienne Over 69.5 Rushing Yards

The third worst run defense in the NFL was the unit of the Los Angeles Chargers (PFF). They gave up the fifth most yards per game on the ground in the league. That’s something to consider in the Super Wild Card Weekend player props.

Etienne has had totals of 108, 83, 103 yards on the ground, not including his latest outing, in the last month. Jacksonville can do their best to keep the ball out of Herbert’s hands by handing it off to their own tail back.

SGP Pick #3: Joshua Palmer Over 54.5 Receiving Yards

If we’re selecting Justin Herbert to go over his passing yardage total, it would stand to reason that we should select a trusted wideout for him to pick up the slack. With Mike Williams out, the Jags can key on top receiver Keenan Allen. That will only open things up for Joshua Palmer to wreak havoc.

Josh Palmer and Keenan Allen have played almost three full games together without Mike Williams this year.

When Williams missed four games (essentially five with him only catching one pass in Week 11), Palmer stepped up in his absence. His yardage totals from those five contests were as follows – 106, 44, 106, 56, 60. In four instances, he went over the listed total. He must definitely be looked at in your Chargers vs Jaguars props.
