Last week, the Chargers’ offense look a little off when Williams left the lineup in a 31-28 loss to the Denver Broncos. Defensively, Los Angeles took the afternoon off yielding 200+ yards rushing and passing. Williams being out changes things a little and puts the focus on Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen

The Chargers’ biggest concern may be that run defense. However, one of Jacksonville’s bigger weaknesses has been running the ball at times. This Jaguars’ rushing attack is inconsistent and only managed 19 yards last week at home to Tennessee. Again, Los Angeles gives up the most yards per carry (5.4) in the NFL to the run. Jacksonville ranks 12th in points yielded but 24th in yardage allowed (28th again passing). The Jaguars cannot give up those 15+ yard passing plays as that will set up the run and short passing game.

Finally, Trevor Lawrence needs to avoid mistakes and missed opportunities. Lawrence had several chances to give Jacksonville a bigger cushion last week and squandered them.
