  • My Week 3 college football prediction market picks cover three Saturday matchups
  • LSU’s market has moved ahead of its trip to Ole Miss
  • Check out my prediction market picks for Week 3 college football, including the sharp money movers

LSU at Ole Miss leads my Week 3 college football prediction market card, with SMU at Louisville and North Carolina at Clemson also worth a look. Each matchup offers a different test of what we learned over the first few weeks.

Quarterback play and turnovers matter across this group. LSU survived an error-filled start last week, Louisville has protected the ball, and Clemson is working through a change under center.

My three prediction market picks for Week 3 college football can be found below, including the sharp money movers.

Week 3 CFB Pick #1: LSU winner: Yes at 58%

LSU is the clearest market story of the three games because the Tigers moved from an opening underdog position into the road favorite range in the college football odds. That shift fits a team that has outscored Clemson and Louisiana Tech 96-24 through two games and allowed only 24 points.

The concern is quarterback Sam Leavitt is currently questionable and has ball security issues. He threw three interceptions in the first half against Louisiana Tech, yet recovered to finish with 381 passing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Ole Miss is not an untested home team. The Rebels are a National Championship odds contender that has already beat Louisville 41-38 in Week 1 and then handled Charlotte 41-9. Heisman Trophy odds candidate Trinidad Chambliss completed 23 of 26 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns in the latter game. Kewan Lacy also supplied 87 rushing yards and two scores.

That makes LSU’s defensive support the deciding factor for this contract. Ole Miss can create pressure with tempo, quarterback movement and Lacy’s rushing, but LSU has shown the more convincing overall profile. On Polymarket US, Yes means LSU wins the game, while No means Ole Miss wins it.

Week 3 CFB Pick #2: Louisville winner: Yes at 53%

Louisville owns the slightly stronger displayed probability, and its opening efficiency supports a narrow home favorite position. The Cardinals produced 635 yards in a 59-13 win over Villanova, while Lincoln Kienholz accounted for 374 total yards, including 332 passing yards and four total touchdowns.

Ball security is an important part of this matchup. Louisville has not committed a turnover through two games, while SMU committed four turnovers in its 27-24 road win at Florida State. The Mustangs still gained 585 yards in that game, including 430 passing yards, so the turnover contrast should not be mistaken for proof that Louisville has the superior offense.

SMU’s Florida State result gives the Mustangs a meaningful road win. Kevin Jennings demonstrated that he can move the ball against a Power Four defense, even while giving away possessions. Louisville already faced a strong offense in its 41-38 opening loss to Ole Miss. Kienholz’s rushing and passing balance gives the Cardinals another way to keep drives alive.

Week 3 CFB Pick #3: Clemson winner: Yes at 60%

Clemson’s displayed 60% probability reflects home field and defensive trust, but the Tigers are not a risk-free favorite. They beat Georgia Southern 22-7 while scoring only one touchdown on five red-zone trips. Kicker Nolan Hauser made all five field-goal attempts and supplied 15 points.

Freshman Tait Reynolds is set to start after completing 16 of 27 passes for 178 yards in relief of Christopher Vizzina. Reynolds adds mobility, but this is his first career start. Clemson has scored only 32 total points through two games, so the market’s low total expectation is consistent with the offense’s limited early output.

North Carolina is 2-0 after beating East Tennessee State 35-3 last week, with Demon June scoring three rushing touchdowns. That FCS win needs context before carrying the same expectations into a trip to Clemson.

Clemson’s defense and home setting give it the better side, even if Reynolds’ debut introduces volatility. Yes means Clemson wins the game; No means North Carolina wins it. That makes Clemson winner the preferred contract rather than a statement that the Tigers will win comfortably.

Week 3 College Football Sharp Money Movers

The LSU winner market is up four percentage points over 24 hours, and the LSU spread Yes market is up three points. Those moves are consistent with increased support for LSU per the college football public betting splits, but price movement alone cannot identify sharp bettors.

In SMU at Louisville, the total Over 58.5 market is down two points over 24 hours. In North Carolina at Clemson, the Clemson winner market is down less than one point.
