It was just a matter of time before the Chiefs got knocked off the perch.

The Bucs and Bills have leapfrogged them in the latest title odds.

Tampa has looked awfully good with ageless wonder Tom Brady helming a juggernaut offense, while the Bills have scorched earth on a four-game win streak, which included a throttling of those Chiefs.

But there’s definite parity, with each of the top eight having a legit case to hoist the Lombardi.

Among this week’s risers? Equally punishing performances by the Ravens and Cardinals have the league on blast.

Let’s run down the latest Super Bowl odds and take a look at the rising and falling stocks.

Clubhouse Leaders

Playing on a short week, with injuries mounting? No worries for the Buccaneers, who improved to 5-1 after a 28-22 win over the Eagles Thursday night.

Tom Brady, playing with an injured thumb on his throwing hand, showed right away he was business. He went 11-for-12 for 121 yards and a pair of TD tosses on Tampa’s first two drives, part of a 297-yard night.

Their stars continue to share the wealth, making it almost impossible to defend. Antonio Brown and OJ Howard were the TD catchers in Week 6, while they leaned heavily on the Leonard Fournette on the ground.

The veteran responded: 22 carries for 81 yards and two scores.

Expect the Bucs to be around this figure the rest of the way — they might not win the title, but they’re not giving up the throne easy.

By the way, the Bills are also nice at +550. They close out Week 6 Monday night against the Titans.

Quote the Ravens

It was statement week for Baltimore.

The Ravens have reeled off five straight wins, and perhaps none more dominating than Sunday’s 34-6 demolition of the LA Chargers.

Their defense made the 4-1 Chargers look awfully pedestrian, holding them to 26 yards rushing, while second-year star Justin Herbert — who had looked borderline MVPish through five weeks — was just 22-for-39 for 195 yards (a 5.0 average), with one TD and one pick.

The Ravens’ run game is still their bread and butter, and they pounded the rock with impunity.

Baltimore ran the ball 38 times for 187 yards and three touchdowns. it was a retro feel Sunday, as Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman each found paydirt.

They’ve moved to +900 odds from +1200, alone with the fourth-best title odds. They’re a dangerous out, and can’t blame you for taking a flier on them.

Unbeaten Birds

If you didn’t believe yet, the Arizona Cardinals are for real, and showed out on the road in a 37-14 clubbing of the Cleveland Browns.

Minus head coach Kliff Kingsbury and edge rusher Chandler Jones (both out due to COVID protocols), neither side of the ball skipped a beat.

Kyler Murray went 20-for-30 for 229 yards and four touchdown passes — including a pair to DeAndre Hopkins —  staking the Cards to a 20-0 lead and never looking back.

Defensively, Arizona sacked Baker Mayfield five times, picked him off once, and recovered two of his fumbles.

Going against one of the top running attacks in football, the Cardinals held Cleveland to 73 yards on 19 carries.

They’ve climbed from +1300 to +1000 odds, in a tie for fifth.

Packers Rolling

Aaron Rodgers continues to own the Bears, and their 24-14 W at Soldier Field was Green Bay’s fifth straight. They started the week at +1200, but they’ve hopped into a tie with Arizona in fifth with +1000 odds.

Perhaps the most impressive bit of their performance was that nothing really stood out. Rodgers threw just 23 times for 195 yards and two TDs, while they rushed for 154 yards on the day, led by Aaron Jones’ 78 yards on 19 totes. Rodgers also ran one in for a major.

Their defense, much maligned, was able to pick off Justin Fields and they also recovered a fumble.

They limited the the rookie QB to just 16-for-27 passing for 164 yards and sacked him four times.

Rodgers and the Pack look like they’re in a quadruple threat atop the NFC, with the Bucs, LA Rams and Cardinals.

Stars Power

It wasn’t pretty, but the Dallas Cowboys have also won five straight. Sunday was not their best outing, needing overtime to beat the Patriots 35-29, in a game they should have won in regulation, and easy.

Head coach Mike McCarthy’s play-calling is shaky, at best, and he clammed up with two huge fourth-and-1 calls in the fourth quarter. Despite owning one of the top o-line’s in the NFL, he opted for kicks. Forget the results (a miss and a make), the coaching wasn’t sound.

For a squad with real talent on both sides of the ball and legit title hopes, he scares me. Buyer beware, as the Cowboys improve from +1300 to +1200 odds.

On the Decline

The Chiefs needed a win after dropping three of their last four, but they didn’t exactly come out gangbusters in DC. They trailed at halftime before turning it on to wipe out the Washington Football Team 31-13.

Patrick Mahomes has never been the problem, and he was his usual MVP-level self Sunday. He threw for 397 yards and a pair of scores.

For the first time all year, their defense showed up, holding an opponent to under 29 points for the first time all season. They picked off Taylor Heinicke once, forced a fumble and held Washington to 276 yards of offense.

KC is at +700, dropping from +550 last week. Not a bad time to grab them at these odds.

The carnage left at the hands of the Ravens and Cardinals are perhaps worth looking at. The Chargers got unplugged in Baltimore, and fell from +1400 odds down to +2100.

The Browns also held +1400 odds heading into Week 6 before getting trampled at home. They’ve lengthened to +2000 odds.

Of those two, trying out a longshot wager on the Chargers makes the most sense. We’ll find out how they play next week, to see if this was just a blip on the radar.
