Two of the top quarterbacks in the NFL match up when the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes visit the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen in a rare Monday (October 19) late-afternoon 5:00 p.m. ET game at Bills Stadium.

The Chiefs and Bills were originally supposed to begin the NFL Week 7 slate on Thursday night.

However, the league moved the game back four days after Buffalo’s Week 6 meeting with Tennessee was delayed for two days because of the Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak.

Regardless of the odd kickoff time, there should be plenty of passing yards in the meeting of two teams that are 4-1 but lost their last game. The total is as high as 57.5.

Mahomes has thrown for 1,474 yards and 13 touchdowns, Allen has 1,589 yards and 14 TDs.

Odds taken Oct. 18 from DraftKings

Prop #1: Patrick Mahomes Over 2.5 Passing TDs

The Bills have given up 10 touchdowns passes through their first five game. To put that in perspective, Buffalo allowed just five scoring passes all last season.

Mahomes threw four touchdown passes in a win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 and three in a victory over the Houston Texans in the opener. He had two scoring passes in the Chiefs’ other three games.

Mahomes also showed in last season’s playoffs that he can quickly pile up the TD passes in a hurry.

The Bills are giving up a lot of points in general. Opponents are averaging 28.4 points a game after the Bills allowed just 14.0 in their first five games last season.

It is easy to like Mahomes at the current odds.

Pick: Patrick Mahomes over 2.5 touchdown passes (+130, 2 units)

Prop #2: Devin Singletary Over 54.5 Rushing Yards

Allen has gained seemingly total command of the Bills’ offense in his third season, transforming once-conservative Buffalo into a passing team.

The Bills entered the weekend second in the NFL in passing. They were just 28th in rushing.

Singletary has just 238 rushing yards this season and has been losing carries to T.J. Yeldon.

However, look for Buffalo to try to establish the running game in this one. The Chiefs have allowed at least 150 yards rushing in three of their last four games.

It seems the right situation for Singletary to finally put up some yards.

Pick: Devin Singletary over 54.5 rushing yards (-112, 1 unit)

Prop #3: Travis Kelce Scores First Touchdown

The Bills will again be missing injured weakside linebacker Matt Milano.

Milano’s absence was felt Tuesday night when the Bills were whipped by the Titans 42-16 at Tennessee. Tight end Jonnu Smith had five receptions, including two for touchdowns.

Kelce leads the team with 32 receptions, 46 targets and 405 receiving yards.

Looks for Mahomes to try to take advantage of the mismatch with the Bills’ defense to get Kelce involved in the passing game early and often.

Mahomes has also shown in recent games that he is willing to take and run when the Chiefs are near the goal line. He is worth putting a wager on to find the end zone again.

Picks: Travis Kelce to score 1st TD (+750), 0.5 units; Patrick Mahomes to score a TD anytime (+180)
