We’re approaching kickoff for Super Bowl 59, but there’s still time to make your prediction. You can still place a bet right now, especially if you expect a long national anthem performance. Whether you’re cramped on time or just looking for advice, our betting expert has done all the research and made his Chiefs vs Eagles prediction.
In this article, you’ll learn the best Chiefs vs Eagles predictions to make for Super Bowl 2025, including expert MVP prediction.
Chiefs vs Eagles Predictions 2025
- Winner Prediction: Eagles (+100 Moneyline at BetMGM )

Kansas City is going for three straight Super Bowls, but the Eagles have the team (defense in particular) to prevent history. Philly has significantly upgraded their roster since their last Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs two years ago. In that matchup, the KC narrowly won 38-35 despite Philly owning a 417-340 edge in yardage.
Philly has bolstered their defensive line with young talents like Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Milton Williams. This addresses their key weakness from their previous SB appearance. Since Week 6, when rookie slot corner Cooper DeJean was inserted into the starting lineup, the Eagles have allowed a league-low 5.2 yards per pass attempt and 171.9 passing yards per game.
Not only is the Eagles’ secondary going to pose problems for Mahomes, but the Philly defensive line is downright nasty and will create all sorts of havoc. The Eagles have racked up 10 sacks this postseason and will dominate a Chiefs offensive line that allowed the third-most pressures during the regular season.
On offense, Saquon Barkley has been a game-changer for the Eagles’ ground game. He’s just 30 yards away from breaking the all-time single-season rushing record, including playoffs. He’s complemented in the ground game by Jalen Hurts, who scored three times on the ground in the prior Super Bowl rematch.
If you are on the fence about betting against this KC powerhouse, consider this trend. The betting underdog has won the Super Bowl in two straight seasons and in six of the past 10 years. KC’s back-to-back Super Bowl wins cloud the fact that they simply aren’t as talented as the Eagles in 2025.

Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl MVP Predictions 2025
- MVP Winner Prediction: Jalen Hurts (+375 at BetMGM )
- Longshot MVP Prediction: Jalen Carter (+6600 at MGM)
Not only has our expert made his Chiefs vs Eagles winner prediction for Super Bowl 2025, but he also has made his Super Bowl MVP prediction. He’s keeping it fairly simple, although he does have a longshot bet as well.
Jalen Hurts is the best Super Bowl MVP prediction to make, as he’s proven himself to be a dynamic dual-threat quarterback capable of taking over games with both his arm and his legs. The most important element: he won’t crumble under the pressure.
In his previous Super Bowl appearance two years ago, Hurts put on a spectacular performance despite the Eagles’ loss. The 26-year-old threw for 304 yards and a touchdown while adding 70 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Hurts’ three rushing scores tied the Super Bowl record for most touchdowns scored by a single player.
Hurts has also shown a knack for elevating his game in the playoffs. In his postseason career, he’s completed 65.2% of his passes for 1,071 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Now, he has more offensive firepower around him than he did two years ago.
While Patrick Mahomes remains the MVP betting favorite, Hurts offers excellent value at his current +345 odds. A key MVP trend is that a quarterback has won Super Bowl MVP in four of the past five seasons. I actually believe all the focus on Saquon Barkley from the Chiefs will help Hurts deliver another epic performance.
BONUS: I have sprinkled on Jalen Carter to win Super Bowl MVP at +6600 odds, as I believe he will deliver a game-changing play on defense. While rare, defensive players have won Super Bowl MVP before. Von Miller’s performance in Super Bowl 50 is a recent example, where he recorded 2.5 sacks, 6 tackles, and 2 forced fumbles. It’s worth a sprinkle.
