  • The NFL betting odds for Week 6 include another potentially epic showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills
  • There’s a huge NFC East showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles on SNF
  • The moneylines, spreads and line movement for every game in the Week 6 NFL odds are analyzed in the following story

The NFL’s last unbeaten team will be getting their biggest team of the season in a key game among the NFL Week 6 line movement. The 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles are playing host to the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys on SNF in a battle for NFC East supremacy.

The last AFC team to win the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs are facing this year’s favorite in the Super Bowl odds, the Buffalo Bills.

At Lambeau Field, there’s a historic NFL team trend on the line. A victory over the New York Jets would be the 786th win in the history of the Green Bay Packers. That would move the Pack ahead of the Chicago Bears as the winningest team in NFL history.

In the NFL odds, nine of the 15 weekend games are showing totals between 42 and 45.5 points. The Atlanta Falcons (5-0 ATS) are the NFL’s last unbeaten team against the spread. At the bottom end, the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, and Carolina Panthers are all 1-4 ATS. The Rams and Panthers are facing each other in Week 6.

Before launching into this week’s line movement, let’s look at the up-to-date Week 6 NFL odds.

In Week 6 against the spread picks, the Atlanta Falcons, the only perfect 5-0 ATS team in the NFL this season, are 5-point home underdogs to the San Francisco 49ers.

Week 6 Biggest Line Movement

At the start of the week, the line between the Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins was off the board. Uncertainty regarding Miami’s starting quarterback was the issue. Both Tua Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater are out with concussions.

Third-stringer Skylar Thompson, a seventh-round draft pick, is now Miami’s QB1. This line could get even longer in favor of Minnesota.

Biggest Total Movement In Week 6 NFL Lines

Perhaps the most surprising thing to be seen in Week 6 at NFL betting sites, is the significant jump in the total line in the Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks game. It was at 42 points in the opening line and has since lengthened to 50.5 points.

This even though Seattle will be missing leading rusher Rashaad Penny. He’s out for the season after undergoing ankle surgery.

Seattle has been the best total bet in the NFL the past two weeks. In the last two games, the Seahawks have gone over the total by a combined 71 points.

Tie For Week 6 Shortest Spread

The Cincinnati Bengals (-2 at New Orleans) and Indianapolis Colts (-2 at home to Jacksonville) are sharing the shortest spread line of this week’s slate.

For Bengals QB Joe Burrow and WR Ja’Marr Chase, it’s a homecoming to the state where they won the national title at LSU.

The Colts are 8-1 straight up in their last nine home games against the Jaguars. However, the Jaguars are 13-1-1 ATS in the last 15 games against the Colts.

Super Bowl Champion Rams Given Biggest Spread

The Carolina Panthers are the best team in the NFL right now to bet not to cover the spread. The Panthers, 10-point underdogs to the Los Angeles Rams in the Week 6 line, are 1-11 ATS over the past 12 games.

That’s the longest spread for any NFL Week 6 game. During that span, this will be the third time that the Panthers are a double-digit point underdog.

In a 41-17 loss at Tampa Bay, Carolina failed to cover as 10.5-point underdogs. They were 14.5-point underdogs at Buffalo and lost 31-14.

Panthers vs Rams Set With Lowest Total of Week 6

They may be going big on the spread, but something isn’t adding up for the Rams and Panthers when it comes to the total. At 41.5 points, they’ve got the lowest total out of all the Week 6 NFL weekend lines.

For the second successive week, the Panthers are showing the shortest spread. This week, there’s good reason to doubt Carolina’s ability to reach the end zone. For starters, #1 quarterback Baker Mayfield (foot) isn’t starting. Former XFL star PJ Walker is getting the nod under center.

Carolina is 25th in the NFL in scoring offense (18.6 points per game). The reigning Super Bowl champion Rams are also struggling to pile up the points. They’re 28th in the NFL with 28 PPG.

Chiefs And Bills Expecting To Total Up The Points

In four previous meetings between the Bills and Chiefs, since Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes became the respective starting QBs for these two teams, the total has hit at least 54 points. That’s the number it’s set at for this Week 6 clash at Arrowhead Stadium.

In the NFL public betting trends. bettors are loving the over on this game. There are 84% of handle and 81% of bets backing the teams to combine to surpass 54 points.  The total has gone over in five of the past six times Buffalo has played at Kansas City.

The over has also hit in three of the games between Allen and Mahomes.
