  • The Denver Broncos are 4-2 ATS in their last six games against the Los Angeles Chargers
  • This season the New York Giants are 4-1 SU and ATS
  • Analysis of all of the Week 6 NFL picks against the spread can be found in the story below

If you were told at the start of the NFL season that come Week 6, two of the best against the spread picks were going to be the New York Giants and Denver Broncos, you might have rightly questioned the wisdom of that handicapping advice.

Well, here it is Week 6, and you’re going to want to be taking both the Giants and Broncos to cover this week. Denver (2-3 SU) has lost three games by a grand total of 13 points. The Broncos are facing a Los Angeles Chargers team that just gave up 28 points to Jacoby Brissett and the Cleveland Browns.

At MetLife Stadium, the Giants are home and getting six points against the inconsistent Baltimore Ravens.

The Atlanta Falcons (5-0 ATS) continue to hold forth as the last unbeaten team in the NFL odds when it comes to betting against the spread. At the other end of NFL spread world, five teams are 1-4 ATS, including the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. There’s also the oddity of the Minnesota Vikings. They’re 4-1 straight up and 1-4 ATS.

Let’s take a look at all the Week 6 NFL picks against the spread and check out the games that are worthy of a wager.

Our top NFL ATS picks this week in the table above will feature plays on the Giants, Broncos and Bengals.

NFL ATS Pick 1: Happy Homecoming for Bengals

There’s a lot of pleasant memories in Louisiana for key Bengals players such as quarterback Joe Burrow and wideout Ja’Marr Chase. They won a national championship there with LSU.

It’s probably going to be Andy Dalton under center for New Orleans against his old team. The Saints are hurting at QB and WR. Take the Bengals in this battle of Who Dey vs Who Dat.

Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -1 (-110), 1 unit

NFL ATS Pick 2: They Might Be Giants

The NFL public betting splits are all over the Ravens this week. On the road against the Giants, Baltimore is garnering 75% of spread handle, and 75% of moneyline bets.

This against a Giants team that has won four out of five games and covered in four out of five games. Baltimore is 1-2-1 ATS over the past four games. The Ravens are banged up at WR and RB.

Pick: New York Giants +6 (-110), 1 unit

NFL ATS Pick 3: Take the Broncos? Yes Please

At the start of this season, there was so much hope for great things from the Broncos and Chargers. As the old song says, it hasn’t happened yet.

The 3-2 Chargers have wins over the Browns, Texans and Raiders. They lost to the Jaguars. Denver is 4-2 ATS in the past six against LA.

Pick: Denver Broncos +6.5 (-110), 1 unit

  • ATS season record 8-6-1

NFL Week 6 Against the Spread Quick Picks

  • Bears (PICK) vs Commanders: Two mediocre teams showcased on TNF? Wow, that never happens.
  • Buccaneers (-8) vs Steelers: Pittsburgh couldn’t cover +14 at Buffalo. The Steelers won’t cover at home against Tom Brady.
  • Colts (-1.5) vs Jaguars: It’s revenge time for Indianapolis. The Colts got whipped 24-0 three weeks ago in Jacksonville.
  • Patriots (+3) vs Browns: Remember when Bill Belichick took Cleveland to the playoffs and then got fired? Well, he does.
  • Packers (-7.5) vs Jets: The Packers couldn’t lose back-to-back to both New York NFL teams, could they?
  • Vikings (-3) vs Dolphins: Looks like former Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) won’t be seeing his old club this week.
  • Rams (-10.5) vs Panthers: Rams need to get right and fast. Fortunately, Carolina has a way of doing that for teams.

Will 49ers End Falcons ATS Streak?

  • 49ers (-6) vs Falcons: Atlanta isn’t going 17-0 ATS this season. ATS perfection is ended by the San Francisco defense.
  • Seahawks (+2.5) vs Cardinals: Seattle’s last two games have gone over by a combined total of 71 points.
  • Chiefs (+3) vs Bills: Patrick Mahomes gets the better of Josh Allen.
  • Eagles (-5.5) vs Cowboys: Philadelphia stays unbeaten and states a case as beast of the NFC East.
