In the latest NFL OROY odds, Drake London is the +600 favorite to claim the prestigious award following an eight reception, 86-yard (and one TD) contest against the Rams. Fellow receivers Jahan Dotson (Commanders) and Garrett Wilson (Jets), who were both first-round picks, round out the top three.

The first running back on the board is Brian Robinson Jr, despite being placed on injured reserve for the first four weeks, given that he was shot before the season. He’s followed by Breece Hall (Jets), who had 50 rushing yards in Week 2, plus a receiving TD, and WR Chris Olave (Saints), who was our pick to win after Week 1. He had five catches for 80 yards against the Buccaneers in his second outing.

Garrett Wilson Makes Big Jump in OROY Odds

The second wideout selected in the draft (10th overall) by the New York Jets was Garrett Wilson. He backed up a solid debut (four catches for 52 yards), with a monster Week 2 to lead a remarkable Jets comeback. Wilson, who went to school at Ohio State, torched the Browns in his homecoming, to the tune of eight receptions for 102 yards and two touchdowns.

He had a last-minute score that aided in a ridiculous comeback for the Jets to break the Browns’ hearts. His OROY odds shortened from +1600 to +800 after Week 2. Another wideout turning heads is that of Commanders’ 16th overall selection Jahan Dotson. He has three touchdowns in the first two weeks, though he went from co-favorite after Week 1 to slightly behind Drake London.

Two Steelers who are still very much in the conversation are Kenny Pickett, the only QB taken in the first round (+1300), and George Pickens (+1400), even though he has just two catches for 26 yards in the early going.

Chris Olave Turning Heads

Following Week 1, where Chris Olave had a solid start garnering three catches for 41 yards, we were high on him given his QB Jameis Winston’s propensity to sling the ball around. He did even better in his encore performance, leading the Saints with 80 receiving yards, on a whopping 13 targets (though he did have one fumble).

He’s aided by teammate Michael Thomas garnering a lot of attention across from him, who has 122 yards and three TD’s in his return, after missing all of 2021.

Olave was the third receiver picked (11th overall), immediately after Wilson, so he has a high draft pedigree. He has 121 yards thus far on the campaign on 16 targets (eight receptions) but hasn’t yet hit pay dirt.

As he gets more comfortable in the Saints offense, expect him to continue to eat up receptions with Winston looking for him often. At +1200, he presents intriguing value, with four players sporting shorter odds than him.

Pick: Chris Olave (+1200)
