Rams vs Bengals SGP Picks: Kyren Williams 40+ Rushing Yards

Williams has started his 2023 campaign off strong with three rushing touchdowns through two weeks and could be a good bet to find the endzone again tonight in the Rams vs Bengals props. From a yardage standpoint he’s finished with 52 yards in back-to-back weeks with 15 and 14 carries in those games.

The Bengals have all sorts of things to worry about coming into MNF and one of them being their complete lack of a run defense. The Bengals are 32nd in allowing 192 yards per game on the ground.

Cincy allowed Nick Chubb to run for 106 yards in Week 1 and Gus Edwards (62), Lamar Jackson (54) and Justice Hill (41) to all rush over the total we’re selecting in our Rams vs Bengals same game parlay picks tonight.

You could certainly consider upping Williams’ rushing yards to get a better payout, however, Williams has only just gone over the 50-yard mark by two yards so far snd I just feel like the Bengals will have to be better defending the run at some point. Nacua caught 10/15 passes for 119 yards in Week 1 and 15/20 targets for 147 yards in Week 2.

He has 35 of the combined 89 targets in the passing game which is 18 more than the next most targeted player by Matthew Stafford, Tutu Atwell who has 17. His 25 catches are 12 more than Atwell’s 13 as well.

League-wide, coming into Week 3 before the Chargers vs Vikings game, Nacua had even seen more targets (35-25) and caught more passes (25-20) than Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson.

Again, perhaps 50 receiving yards is a conservative approach here, but back-to-back-to-back 100-yard games is rare. Plus, he’s been dealing with an oblique injury and has been limited in practice, so we’re ok just taking 50+ yards here in our SGP picks.

Rams vs Bengals SGP Picks: Rams +7.5 Alternate Spread

The Bengals have already lost 24-3 and 27-24. Meanwhile, the Rams won 30-13 and lost 30-23. The loss came against the 49ers who are maybe the best team in the league right now. And, that scoreline would fall within this alternate spread number too. The Rams are 3-point underdogs right now but we’ll add some points and take them at +7.5.

The Rams are scoring the ninth-most points per game, averaging 26.5, while the Bengals are dead-last at 13.5. While that average can’t continue for the Bengals, Burrow’s injury status is still up in the air. If he plays, he’s clearly not 100-percent. And if he doesn’t, Cincy will be going with Jake Browning. No matter the outcome, I don’t see the Bengals getting too far ahead of the Rams here even if they win.
