This game’s total is set as the lowest game total of the week in the NFL betting odds at 36.5.

That makes sense with Pittsburgh being 6-1 to the Under and Tennessee 5-2 to the Under.

These are two bottom ten offenses with the Steelers averaging 16.1 PPG (29th) and the Titans 18.9 (23rd).

Both also bring better defenses to the tavble with the Titans giving up 20 PPG (13th) and the Steelers 21 (18th).

Now some of that could change. Only one Tennessee game had gone over 50 points this season (27-24 vs LAC), but last week in Levis’ debut their game saw a total of 51 points scored.

The most points scored in a Steelers’ game this season has been 48 way back on September 18. Since, the most combined points in their games hasn’t exceeded 41.

Both of these teams have a slight winning record ATS heading into TNF at 4-3.

The Steelers have only been a favorite once and they are 0-1-0. Meanwhile, the Titans as an underdog are 4-2-0 ATS. They also had a winning record as a dog last season at 5-3-1. And Mike Vrabel has an NFL-best 25 wins as an underdog with the Titans.

Based on that, Tennessee may cover these three points on the normal NFL spreads on its’ own, but adding some more points on the alternate spread to make them +11.5 in the Titans vs Steelers odds looks even more appealing.

The Steelers have no offense, averaging 16.1 PPG (29th) and while they have four wins this season, those wins have come by just 4, 5, 7 and 7 points.

We have little to go off from Levis and which receivers he’ll look to target the most, but he did look the way of DeAndre Hopkins and Chigoziem Okonkwo the most last week six times each. Both receivers had four catches, but it was Hopkins who exploded for 128 yards and three touchdowns.

Hopkins was non-existent the game prior against the Ravens catching only 1/5 passes for 20 yards, but before that against the Colts he was 8/11 for 140 yards.

The Steelers aren’t great defensively in either rushing (28th, 137.1 YPG allowed) or passing (24th, 245.4 YPG allowed) so it could be a good day for both Hopkins and or Derrick Henry in the Titans vs Steelers props.

The lowest passing yards the Steelers have allowed this year was 220 yards and that was way back in Week 1. Since, the Steelers pass defesne has allowed opposing QBs to throw for 235, 324, 306, 236, 231 and 292 yards last week.

Every opposing QB has thrown for at least one passing touchdown except the Ravens in Week 5, while 3/7 games have seen a quarterback throw for two scores.

Levis’ debut last week went about as well as any rookie QB could hope for. Levis was 19/29 for 238 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions and the Titans beat the Falcons 28-23.

He won’t match that output again, but he should at least throw for 150+ yards for our Titans vs Steelers SGP.
