  • In the Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles inactive and injury reports for Monday Night Football, for the second week in a row, the Eagles are reporting no starters with an injury designation
  • The Commanders are without QB1 and former Eagle Carson Wentz, on IR with a finger injury
  • Washington starting linebackers David Mayo (hamstring) and Cole Holcomb (foot) are also out in the Commanders vs Eagles injury report

As they prepare to play host to the Washington Commanders in the Week 10 MNF game, what could be more exciting for the 8-0 Philadelphia Eagles than continuing the pursuit of a perfect NFL season? Well, how about chasing perfection while suiting up a starting lineup completely bereft of injury?

That’s again the case for Philadelphia. Not a single current Eagles starter is carrying an injury designation.

The 4-5 Commanders aren’t as lucky. QB1 Carson Wentz remains out. The former Eagles’ starter is on injured reserve due to a finger injury. On defense, linebackers David Mayo (hamstring) and Cole Holcomb (foot) are also out.

The Eagles are 10.5-point home favorites in the Washington vs Philadelphia picks for this Week 10 MNF matchup. Public betting is of two minds on this game. Philadelphia is drawing the vast majority of the moneyline wagering. However, the Commanders are garnering significant wagering support against the spread in the Commanders vs Eagles betting splits.

Kickoff for this game on Monday, November 14 is set for 8:20 pm ET at Lincoln Financial Field. The weather forecast is calling for cloudy skies, 6 mph wind and a temperature of 49 degrees. ESPN is carrying the broadcast in the USA and TSN will be airing the game in Canada.

Washington Commanders Injury Report

Along the offensive line, both center Tyler Larsen (back) and left guard Andrew Norwell (groin) are listed as questionable. It’s the second straight week for Larsen with this injury designation. He was able to play every offensive snap last week, though. If Norwell is slowed or can’t go, look for Saahdiq Charles to step in at left guard.

Commanders RB JD McKissic is out with a neck injury. Last season, McKissic missed much of the campaign due to issues with his neck.

LDE Chase Young continues to be out with a knee injury. There was a glimmer of hope that both Young and Wentz would be activated for this game, but their respective returns to action remain at least another week away.

Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report

The Eagles aren’t completely free from ailments. Backup cornerbacks Avonte Maddox (hamstring) and rookie Josh Jobe (hamstring) are both out for this game. Maddox was hurt in last week’s win over the Houston Texans and was forced to leave the game.

Maddox’s absence is concerning. He performs as Philadelphia’s nickel back on passing downs.

There are also a number of defensive linemen out of action for the Eagles. DE Derek Barnett (ACL), DT Jordan Davis (high ankle sprain) and DE Janarius Robinson (ankle) are all on IR. Robinson is eligible to return for Week 11, while Davis is out until at least Week 13. Barnett is done for the season.

How Could Injuries Affect Commanders vs Eagles Lines?

Right off the bat, there’s some good news on the injury front for the Commanders. Rookie WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) is good to go for this game. He’s missed the past five games.

In the four games he did play, Washington’s 2022 first-round draft pick caught four touchdown passes. Dotson’s four TD receptions still leads the team. That’s something you might want to keep in mind for an anytime TD scorer play in the Commanders vs Eagles player props.

Minus Holcomb for the third straight game and Mayo for the first game, look for Jon Bostic to see plenty of playing time at weak-side linebacker. He started and played 65% of defensive snaps last week against Minnesota. Bostic accounted for five tackles. However, with Milo Eifler and Drew White both on IR, the LB ranks are thin on the Washington bench. One of Khaleke Hudson or De’Jon Harris is going to need to step up into a bigger role after playing mostly special teams this season.

Eagles head coach Nick Nick Sirianni is indicating that Josiah Scott will be replacing Maddox as Philadelphia’s nickel back. However, Scott has been limited in practice this week due to an ankle injury.
