Recent callup Jaxson Stauber, who is their fourth string goalie, has won his first two NHL starts, giving up just four markers. He’s a candidate to play again in this one to ride the hot hand, coming off a 5-1 victory. How’s this for a wild stat? Edmonton Oilers Betting Analysis

The Edmonton Oilers were flirting with being outside of a playoff position, but they’ve pulled their socks up to go 6-0-1 in their last seven, and have points in nine of ten affairs (7-1-2). They surprisingly fell to Columbus in overtime on Wednesday, where they played down to their competition, which potentially could happen again.

They’ve been lighting the lamp at will (third best in the NHL), and free-agent signee Jack Campbell has finally turned the corner. He was miserable the first three months (.876 save %, 3.90 GAA).
