Vegas Keeps Finding Ways To Win

Vegas is not the easiest team to watch or follow for that matter. However, the Golden Knights excel at winning when it counts. So far, this team managed to hold off the Edmonton Oilers for top spot in the West. If Vegas gets a point or more, they clinch the top spot in the West. That seemed hard to believe even a month or two ago.

With Vegas playing important games every night out, the Golden Knights have gone 6-1-3 in their past ten contests. That is impressive given the injuries and constant rotating of personnel.  Also, the Golden Knights come in with an excellent 25-7-8 road mark. That remains one of the best in the NHL.

Will Vegas continue their road-winning ways against Seattle on Thursday night? Now, the Golden Knights have won four of their previous five meetings with the Kraken. That included a 4-1 victory on Tuesday where Michael Amadio scored twice. Jack Eichel leads the Golden Knights with 65 points on the season, but feature 12 players who have scored 10+ goals this season and six players with 50+ points.

Laurent Brossoit expects to start this Thursday night. The Vezina Trophy futures were never in the cards for Vegas as too many injuries have ravaged Vegas.

Seattle Gets One Last Crack At Vegas

Behind a crafty power play and Jared McCann’s 40-goal season, the Seattle Kraken clinched a playoff spot for the first time in their existence. One of the unsung reasons for their surge is Vince Dunn. Dunn has 64 points in 80 games while playing quality defense for Seattle. His biggest knock in St. Louis was that ability to play in his own end of the ice. Who knew he just needed some more ice time?

Seattle still has a shot to improve their playoff position with a win and a Los Angeles loss in regulation. The chances are minute with the Kings playing the Ducks. However, never say never.

Yes, that is a lot of numbers to digest. Dunn will not contend in the Norris Trophy race but maybe he should. Seattle limits scoring chances and shots well (27.1 shots per game – 2nd in the NHL). What most forget about Seattle is their offense. The Kraken come in at third with 3.56 goals per contest.

Suddenly, the Kraken are in the playoffs. Tonight, they want to close out their season with a win.

Golden Knights vs Kraken Same-Game Parlay Picks

Pick Odds
Vegas Moneyline -120
Under 6.5 Goals -145
PARLAY ODDS  +210

The game expects to display lots of playoff intensity and some tight-checking. Vegas may have Jack Eichel and even Shea Theodore back in the lineup. Expect that to tip things more toward the Vegas moneyline and yet keep the scoring down enough on Thursday night.

Pick: Under 6.5 Goals (-145)
