  • Arsenal take on Wolves at the Emirates Stadium on November 2nd at 11:00 am EST
  • The Gunners are in a run of bad form, dropping points against Crystal Palace, and getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Liverpool
  • Nonetheless, Unai Emery and his squad are being picked as the favorites with a moneyline of -132

Arsenal are back in action this weekend, taking on Wolves in a crucial Premier League match-up in London at the Emirates Stadium. For the Gunners, they are hoping to sneak closer to Chelsea in their hunt for a spot in the top four after losing out on points to some lackluster opponents to say the least.

In reality, they probably need the win more than Wolverhampton, as the fans have turned their back on Unai Emery and captain Granit Xhaka, who has been in a rift with the fans after last weeks display against Crystal Palace.

Wolves +½, 1, (-111) +330 U 2.5, 3 (-109)

Meanwhile, Nuno and his team will be looking to snatch a win and get into the top half of the table after some poor results from his side as well. A defeat against Aston Villa and a draw against Newcastle should see them fighting to get a positive result, and as most have seen last year, this Wolves side can take down even the big sides.

Arsenal Are in Desperate Need of a Positive Result

Fans of the historic club are up in arms in London over the team’s recent performances, so do not be surprised to see Unai Emery mix it up against Wolves, to try and save his job. This could include the entrance of Mesut Ozil back into the squad, as fans saw him come off early after a positive shift against Liverpool in the League Cup. The deadly attack will also be well-rested after getting a nice break on Wednesday evening.

The past few seasons, Arsenal have been absolutely dreadful away from home, and because this game is at the Emirates, with their backs against the wall, expect a good game. However, Wolves are no team to write off. They have recently beat the back-to-back Premier League Champions in Manchester City, and have picked up two Europa League wins against Besiktas and Slovan Bratislava. Raul Jimenez has been their deadliest target so far, netting ten goals over 19 appearances.

Despite Arsenal’s recent streak of bad showings, most of these have been away from home and against some tough competition to be fair. Their Sheffield United loss was put under the microscope, however, Sheffield have one of the best defenses in the league, only allowing eight goals. The loss to Liverpool was unlucky, given that they scored five goals at Anfield against some world-class players.

At home, Arsenal is an easy pick to win, especially due to the fact that Mesut Ozil could feature behind the front three of Aubameyang, Lacazette, and Pepe.

Pick: Arsenal (-132)
