It’s no surprise that Erling Haaland is odds-on to score in the final given how prolific he has been for City this season but they are no one-man team and there are others in sky blue who offer better value in the Champions League odds. It is anticipated that this will be another in a long line of Man City games where they starve the opposition of the ball, and so for Inter to win the game it will be vital they make the most of their opportunities to counter-attack.
With Lautaro Martinez looking likely to partner Edin Dzeko up from for Inter, at the expense of Romelu Lukaku, the Argentinian World Cup winner has a vital role to play. His pace, speed of thought, and ability to finish are well-suited to a counter-attacking game and so at +280 as an anytime scorer, he represents some decent value.

In terms of who can provide the ammunition for Martinez and Dzeko, there is plenty of value on offer. The bookmakers are playing down Inter’s chances in this game and so across their midfield, there are some juicy odds to be had for providing assists.
For me, the pick of the bunch is Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu, who is nicely priced at +450, and who has topped the Inter ‘assist’ chart this season in both Serie A and the Champions League.

Manchester City Champions League Props
If betting on City, it’s best to avoid the predictable Haalend-fest unless you’re looking to go big on an outlandish number of shots and/or goals for the giant Norwegian. But, as City have proven in their thrilling and seemingly unstoppable end to the season, this team has goals and assists in it in abundance.
If Haaland is misfiring, then expect Ilkay Gundogan or Kevin De Bruyne to step up, and if they are having rare off days, then it will be the turn of Jack Grealish or Riyad Mahrez to take center stage. That’s how City rolls right now, so there is no shortage of good bets on offer when it comes to who, other than Haaland, is likely to chip in with a goal.

Gundogan has tended to be the one to step up of late – he scored a brace in their FA Cup final win over United – but the biggest stage brings out the biggest characters, so let’s not be surprised if it’s Grealish’s day. Oddly, when it comes to assists, the value, for me, is with their Norwegian superstar who, while known for his goals, is also the focal point of City attacks.

Gundogan and Dzeko Both Offering Value for Shots
Having looked at both teams separately in terms of goals and assists, we’re left with shots on goal, both on and off target, and who will take the most. Haaland again leads the betting but, also again, offers little by way of value. The table above offers a selection of plus-money bets but, for me, the standout is with Gundogan at +140 for over 2 shots, considering his form in front of goal and the more advanced role Pep Guardiola is playing him in.
For Inter, Dzeko at +180 for the same bet as Gundogan looks like decent value given that he, along with Martinez, is the man charged with giving the Italians a shot at winning this game.
