- Red Star lead Serbian league but are wide outsiders
Tottenham Hotspur need to recover quickly from their humiliation by Bayern Munich. They get their chance when they face Red Star Belgrade in Champions League Group B on Tuesday, October 22, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, at 3:00 pm EST.
Last season’s beaten finalists Spurs were thrashed 7-2 by Bayern in London on Matchday 2 in the heaviest home defeat ever suffered by an English club in European competition.
Despite the hammering by the German champions, oddsmakers make Tottenham wide favorites to win on Tuesday at -435. Red Star – also known as Crvena Zvezda – are priced at an outside +950 with the draw at +500.

The stunning defeat at Spurs’ glittering new stadium was also the first time they had conceded seven goals in a home game in any competition.

It leaves them third in the standings behind Bayern and Red Star and above Olympiakos.
Last Season’s Beaten Finalists
However, Spurs will have too much quality for a stubborn Red Star team and the win is correctly priced – offering meager value. An outside shot on the draw could be more productive.
Tottenham has endured a stuttering season at home and in Europe following their progress to last June’s UCL final where they were beaten by Liverpool.
We love to see Vladan Milojević smile because it usually means the team has achieved something *really* big! We hope to see him smile a lot in the future. Here's to a happy #WorldSmileDay 😄 #fkcz pic.twitter.com/h9NuvCQYkU

Four Away Defeats for Red Star
