Tommy Paul vs Casper Ruud Prediction

Paul and Ruud will go head-to-head for the fourth time on Friday. The two last played each other at the 2021 Australian Open, where Ruud won. Ruud currently holds the head-to-head record at 2-1, having won the last two meetings.

Paul and Ruud are set to play at 12:!5pm ET at Louis Armstrong Stadium.

The 25-year-old American is coming off a strong win over fellow countryman Sebastian Korda, and Ruud defeated his opponent Tim van Rijthoven in four after dropping the opening set.

The Norwegian is entering the match as the slight favorite given rank and previous history between the two. Rudd also has quite a bit more experience and success at a Grand Slam level, which is sure to be a factor. But Paul is playing in front of a home crowd, which could be a benefit.

Regardless of the winner here, it has all the makings of a match that will go the distance.

Best Bet: 5 Sets (+270)

Karen Khachanov vs Jack Draper Prediction

27th seed Khachanov will take on England’s Draper tomorrow at 1:45 pm ET for their first career meeting. The two will play at Grandstand.

Khachanov is coming off a four-set win over Brazil’s Thiago Monteiro, and Draper defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets to move onto the round of 32.

So where’s the best bet?

Draper’s the favorite heading into the match, but he’s young and inexperienced at the Grand Slam level. This is just his third main draw appearance. But with that being said, he’s leaving his mark. He’s yet to drop his serve or a set over his two matches here.

Khachanov has been impressive as well, but on paper, it looks like Draper has the upper hand the way he’s playing. As mentioned, he’s the favorite at -145, but look for him to win in four sets.

Best Bet: Draper to win 3-1 (+370)

Pablo Carreno Busta vs Alex de Minaur Prediction

Surprisingly this is just the second matchup between Carreno Busta and de Minaur. Their one and only meeting happening at the French Open in 2019, where Carreno Busta won in straight sets.

The two will take the court tomorrow at 5:00 pm ET at Grandstand.

Both players are coming off four set wins over their second-round opponents. Carreno Busta defeated Alexander Bublik 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7(7)-6(5), while de Minaur went on to beat Cristian Garin 6-3, 6-0,4-6, 6-2.

Carreno Busta is the slight favorite heading into the match at -125 to de Minaur’s +105. Both have been able to find success at the US Open specifically in the past, so know what to expect at this round. The two have similar, but different styles of play, which could lead to either of them gaining the lead. Because of that, look for the match to go the distance.

Best Bet: 5 sets (+265)
