Shelby Rogers vs Emma Raducanu Prediction

Unseeded Rogers will take on qualifier Raducanu in the fourth round of the US Open on Monday. This will be the first meeting between the two players. Rogers will be looking to earn herself a spot in the quarterfinals of The US Open for the second year in a row, while Raducanu continues to improve her career best, as this is her first appearance in the main draw of this Grand Slam.

Rogers enters this fourth round match coming off a huge comeback win over No. 1 seed Ashleigh Barty. Rogers defeated the Australian 6-2, 1-6, 7(7)-6(5) to earn her spot in the Round of 16. The American went on to trail 2-5 in the deciding set, but managed to find a way to win.

Raducanu is having herself a tremendous run at this year’s US Open. The 18-year old has yet to drop a set over the course of her six matches, which includes qualifiers. Most recently she stunned Sara Sorribes Tormo winning 6-0, 6-1.

This will definitely be an exciting match between these two. Rogers will be playing in front of a home crowd that she’s performed well in front of so far. Raducanu on the other hand has nothing to lose. The teenager entered the tournament ranked 150th in the world.

If Raducanu can keep the same mindset she’s had, which has clearly worked for her, it seems like she has the edge to take this one. But regardless, this match looks to be a battle, most likely going the distance.

Best Bet: Ov 2.5 sets (+112)

[17] Maria Sakkari vs [6] Bianca Andreescu

Sakkari and Andreescu will go head-to-head for the second time in their careers on Monday in the fourth round of The US Open. The two played each other earlier this year in the semifinals of the Miami Open, where Andreescu won in three sets. Andreescu leads the head-to-head record 1-0.

Sakkari will enter this match having not dropped a set this tournament. She upset 10th seed Petra Kvitova in the third round winning 6-4, 6-3.

Andreescu, who is currently undefeated in Flushing Meadows, defeated her third round opponent Greet Minnen in straight sets on Saturday, winning 6-1, 6-2.

Andreescu will have to fight to keep her clean record at The US Open. Sakkari will be her toughest opponent to date, as Sakkari and Andreescu might be two of the most aggressive players on tour. The two will look to their serve to be a big part of their game, as well as their strong groundstrokes.

Regardless of the winner here, expect it to go the distance. Neither player is going down easy.

Best Bet: Ov 2.5 sets (+114)

[11] Belinda Bencic vs [7] Iga Swiatek Prediction

This will be the second meeting between these two, and Swiatek currently holds the head-to-head edge with a 1-0 record. Their one and only meeting came earlier this year in the finals of the Adelaide 500, where Swiatek won in straight sets.

Bencic heads into this fourth round match having yet to drop at set in New York. She’s coming off a straight set win over American Jessica Pegula, winning 6-2, 6-4.

With her win on Saturday, Swiatek has now at least reached the fourth round of all Majors this year.

Both players will be relying on their serve in this match, and will be entering the match with a ton of confidence. Swiatek has been playing really well, but has been tested a few times. Bencic has truly been dominant from the start here in New York, giving her a slight edge heading into this match.

Best Bet: Bencic (+110)
